What beats 2x attack speed on weapons? I'm a warrior for reference. Level 51 having a hard time giving up that extra attack speed on the sword with slightly higher base damage.

Do the nexus daily quests, you start with 2 per day at 700ish rep each, it'll make those 3 months take alot less time.

Daily nexus quests? I havnt found any dailies for that faction o_O; I had one quest to go to a nexus and then use an item, but I havnt gotten any quest after that. Do they pop up all week long or just on weekends along with Nexus?

I never got mine to pop back up after Sunday night's daily reset, so I'm not sure if I'm just bugged or the quest only pops up when Nexus is going to happen. On the first night Nexus was available I did the quest line to start the dailies and with the reset at 10, I was able to do the daily for the later one. I believe the daily was available the next day then, but Nexus wasn't going to happen again until the weekend.

I've only had one available. Maybe two become available with Friendly? I'm like 400 rep shy of Friendly because I missed the Sunday afternoon Nexus.

On that note.. I've done two different Agnitor dailies, but the achievement is bugged and reset my credit for the one. This will be a fun achievement to get if it keeps doing that like the Darkmoon item turn in achievement in WoW. Atleast I could buy all the items and turn them all in at once to make sure I got it, this.. not so much.

I'm not sure whether you just need to save your dailies until the nexuses pop up or whatever the requirement is, but I seem to get them on days when nexuses aren't even happening on occasions.

On topic of tanks: I've noticed that while doing AH, I consistently pull hate on warrior. Is that due to war's damage nature and hate gain, or have I just been with a string of bad lancers (Up to 7~ in a row). This is all with assault stance, I've gone whole fights where I was the only one to ever get a red circle from the boss (not to say I was tanking the whole time, just the only one to get enough hate to have a circle). Don't really see slayers/sorcs pull hate, only I have been. It's confusing :<

Are you using Torrent of Blows regularly? If so, that could be why.

No, I full DPS only, using battle cry when I have 10 stacks up. I only use torrent of blows when I'm tanking.

Backstab, poounce/RoB/traverse/blade draw/deadly gamble/rising fury/DFA/Vortex standard DPS.

Edit: Also, what's an alternate area to go to to level up around level 52? I have 1.5 bars left but I can't stand doing any more AH for minimal exp and can't get a group/solo dragonfall BAMs.

Battle cry will generate a fair amount of agro. I only use it when I need an oh shit stun and there are lots of edge stacked.

Yeah, I didn't mean it to sound like I'm spamming it. Just if I notice I have 10 stacks and the mob is moving around a bit I'll use it to stun it in place for a sec.

Are you using Charging Slash often? That could be part of it since the skill generates high aggro, though I know it's good for building edge and leading into Blade Draw. I always seem to grab threat more often than other dps on my warrior as well and it really shows on a mediocre/bad tank.

Nope, rarely touch the move, when I'm not tanking. I don't use any attacks that generate hate besides battle cry. I'm guessing it's like senji said and has somethign to do with double attack speed weapon and proper crystals? There was times when I was doing 10k/hit of RoB on crit and >40k on blade draw (Normally only doing 24k crits on normal mobs lol)

If you crit often and for high damage, you'll pull hate more often than not. Could also be a case that your tanks aren't keeping up with shouts and shield bashes to outweigh the moves that you do.

Any Lancer worth their salt can keep hate 95% of the time even in hard mode. The problem is that most Lancers view taunt as an ability to get the mob back on them once they lose hate and not something that they should spam the second the cooldown is up.

Edit: However, that isn't to say that you won't always guaranteed lose it the second your sorcerer drops a jesus crit or your melee dps drop a sick crit string. But good lancers get it back within a second or two.

Yeah on my Warrior my personal best so far was a 190kish crit on Scythe but I'm usually stringing a lot of crits together in the 60-100k range pretty fast. Slayers and Sorcs can do better in a single hit but I think the speed makes up for that and might be why I see myself pulling threat before those classes.

I'd have to agree. Between Combo and Shield Bashes you shouldn't lose hate to anything except for super high crits. Granted there are instances where you will need to spam Shout because you can't let down your shield enough to Combo, but between those 2 abilities you should be able to hold threat except for those super high crits.

Oh, I mean, I play lancer by holding left click and never letting go. Real niggas hold hate through sick deeps brah.
