You mean shield counter right? Cause combo and shield bash certainly isn't enough unless you damage dealers really suck. I don't lose hate to anything but super high crits, and I feel better knowing that it's the only thing I will ever lose hate to. Even more so when I know how quickly I can get hate back.
Without knowing when to shout, you lose aggro way more often than you do with it. If my damage dealers are worth their slot in a party, you can bet your ass I'm shouting when it's safe.

You can still lose aggro to an 1.2M crit on red Kuma, immediately after shout, like you can lose aggro to a 700k crit on Kaprima, immediately after shout. I personally find every single boss in the game easy enough to tank without taunt.
The game is easy enough to where you can jerk off and tank HM at the same time, so everyone has their own style I guess.

With correct gear / glyphs you can do it w/o shout even with good dmg dealers. I'd rather keep Comboing, Countering, Debilitating, and Stunning to keep aggro. It kills the Mob faster even though it isn't much and you're keeping threat.
No matter what in some instances you will lose threat to a DPS because of Crits, it happens, and it can happen even after you've been spamming taunt.

At 60, what's the stopping point on farming dungeons solo for your alts? Akasha's Hideout hardmode or regular Hideout?
You "could" do sky.. slowly.. on a zerker (about an hour), I don't know of any other classes that can pull it off in a semi timely fashion.
You cannot solo Akasha's HM solo, its nearly impossible, because of the regen (probably near 50K per 10 seconds)/bleed effect rape is pretty hardcore (something like 10% your hp a tick)
GL/AH is pretty much the fastest/least effort farmable content solo in a decent amount of time (under 10min)
I tried AH HM, went fine on sorc, but make a mistake that leads to a juggle and you're dead.
I've been told by two different people that even though you can have more than one Threatening Crystal equipped now, the effects don't actually stack.
Does anyone here know if that's true? I can't find any info on it on the Tera site.

It stacks. They're retarded. They've even fixed the text now. It stacked even when they text was messed up.
I'll normally roll one threatening crux, one focused crux, and two mutinous cruxes in PUGs, and have rarely ever found myself losing aggro; if I find myself in a group where the DPS are exceptionally well-geared, however, I may swap in a second threatening crux in place of the focused to play it safe.
And while we're on the topic of crystals, I must say that every time I see a Lancer using Relentless Crystals over Anarchic/Stalwart, I die a little inside.
I use 2 threatening cruxes since I only generally roll within my guild now and the dps are well geared.
Boss Offense: 2 threat, 1 enraged, one carving (flat 3% crit)
Normal: Flat crit, 1 threat, 2 normal damage.
Lancer PvE Rings:
Regenerate HP% or Increase Weakening Effects (for Debilitate)?
Side question on the Weakening Effects Stat... Does that do anything for Slows?
Lancer PvE Earrings:
Increase HP Restoration% or ???
From what people have told me the Regenerate HP% on rings only affects heals coming from you so it's pointless unless you are a healer. As far as the increased effects go its kinda misleading as it just decreases the chance of it resisting when using such and such effect on a monster.
To answer your last question though, I'm 95% sure that slows are considered a "Stun" effect as there are only 3 categories of debuffs in this game: Periodic Damage, Weakening, and Stun. Slayer Backstab gives the mob a "Stun" effect but all it does is prevent the mob from moving and Warrior "Pounce" slows mob speed and is also considered a "Stun" effect.
Regenerate HP% on Rings, Neck, Weapon, and Hands are to increase healing spells casted by you.
Regenerate HP% on Body and Earring is for when it's casted on you.
Edit- For rings on lancer I used increased stun effect personally.
So my WAR is 51 about to be 52, using the +6% Attack Speed Necklace. When would it good to get rid of it to gain more attack over the ATK Speed with a new necklace?
