Lancer is at 41, what are the best glyphs for leveling solo as a lancer?

Is the Exquisite sets not the ET/LoT template?

I had just assumed that this was the case. I would be very sad to find out that the set was unskinnable. Seriously, they need to implement a random "can be used as a template" system at least.

Nexus gear, at least for Elin cloth, is a metalic looking version of the white 52 crafted gear, so if you have dyed that set, with the green quality blackish dye, then it could be mistaken, for Nexus T13 gear.

When the game was level 50, there were also sets that did not have a template option. Later, when the cap was raised to 58, those models became a template option, and the ET/LoT/Kelsaik models became the unique gear. I suppose the level difference, to 60 cap, wasn't enough for them to expand enough armor templates, to have template version available, for the ET/LoT/Kelsaik models. They may become that way, at some point, but for now, you have to wear the lvl 58 gear, to get that look.

T13 crafted gear has a unique model; I've already seen a couple of Elin cloth bodies, on VoT. There is only one, un-released armor model, and that is the gothic looking set. There's also a black skinned set, but it's just black re-skins, of older templates, already available to us. There are pictures floating around, if you want to see them.

Second Wind cooldown and Iron Will duration/potency are the best I feel for soloing. Damage on spring attack does wonders as well, the rest is pretty much up to play style. You can get MP reduction on certain abilities and increased mp regen for combos or focus on more damage glyphs. I tend to avoid shield/aggro when soloing, as I don't block that often for random trash mobs and would rather plow through with Iron Will.

But if you do like to block random mobs, getting damage glyphs for block (shield counter and power up) works as well.

So doing the timer in FoK seems to net an enigmatic body drop every run I do that does it, yet to do one w/o doing the Timer to see if one didnt drop. Does BT have something like this? I heard something about doing both Kuma bosses, does that work to 100% a weapon drop?

No. Timer in FoK seems to guarantee an enigmatic in general, not just bodies (it hasn't not dropped an enigmatic doing the time trial in Easy Mode for me, at least). Killing both Kumas is supposed to up drop rate on weapon but it is not 100%.

Oh, really? I've never seen Kaprima not drop an enigmatic in Normal, regardless of doing the timer or not.

100% E with timer in my experience, eyeballing 50% without. Small sample size, etc. Hearing claims about tests only saying it's for hard mode though.

^ went 4/5 on Enig bodies doing the timer after killing crab and killing last piller within 1 minute. Last run only netted us en-leather boots. Take what you will from that (normal mode btw).

On Mystic, is there a time where MP Aura is preferred on BAMs? I've typically been keeping MP Aura out when killing normal mobs, then switching to CritDefense on BAMs since the PUG tanks I tend to get are garbage, along with DPS who don't know how to dodge.

Most mystics seem to run the crit aura and mp aura for BAMs and Dungeons that I have been in. It's nice coupled with the crystal that gives mp generation on back crits, you hardly ever have to combo attack.

It's not for hard mode from what I've seen. 0/8 on any kind of enigmatic from Kaprima HM, 6/8 of those with the timer all done properly. The last two we just said screw it.

You should never NOT have MP aura up. It helps defensively too. Lancer's block relies on MP. Some lancers need more MP than others. If you have shitty players, they need to learn to get better. CritDefense aura means so much wasted potential.

I agree with the MP always should be up in almost every single possible case, however.....

While I understand saying people should get better. When you're dealing with a PUG group that is terrible. W/e gets you out of the situation the fastest and least headache is what I would do. If you have to baby sit the shitty lancer w/ a crit down aura then do it.

MP aura helps a lancer more than crit down honestly, was my first point. So for PUGs that have shitty players, they will need all the help they can get

This is what I do- I'm sure theres other area's but so far I've found this efficient- Not sure about t5 essence though that ones a bitch gotta channel hop ;/ (I guess you could do Argonea/Granarkas but eh)
