you can always cheese ET HM boss with an all sorc boss, was kind of hilarious actually, as it was almsot no movement involved in the entire fight...

as for the body adds, they can do knockdown on the tank which can be bad... but in the case of a 3 sorc group, they didn't live more then a few seconds through all the hailstorm/fireblasts.

LoT is pretty easy, only challenging boss I'd say.... is the machine like thing with rockets/fires lasers and requires people to get close to it/run far away depending on its super attack. Did a Normal mode LoT on my lancer last night (Lv57) had an entire group of Lv 60's... I think most of them died 2X on that boss from requiring to "get close" to the boss. Sadly I did die on the run too... the clown boss hits like a dam truck compared to anything else in the instance + his adds (we had 3 sets of adds wtf) totally got raped trying to kite o_O

In BT HM, third boss, when the emitters target themselves, is there a trick to finding a safe zone?

Often people use the little symbols in the circle near the middle, uhhh it's hard to describe.

    You know wut, here.

I've also had my lancer be safe at a pole.

During the phase where it can target the focus emitters (below 35%) you want to keep all DoTs off so that it can be slept whenever it targets the emitters. If sleep fails, the best way for the tank to survive (assuming they still have aggro), is to stand on one of those safe spots, and when blue kumas pushes you out to being extremely close to being hit by the passing balls, charging lunge into him so your model is inside his model, then swivel your camera 180 and stand fast; this will push you out of his model and keep you still in the safe area.

Ok thanks a lot for this info. We sorta randomly decided to do this instance yesterday. We only had time for two attempts on Blue Kuma and got him to 5-6% each time before the balls destroyed us. Now I know why. Hopefully our next attempt goes a lot smoother.

Did a BT run the other night on my Mystic and learned most of it on the go since PUGs in general are super impatient. Had to have someone else handle cannon on last boss though.

Was basically wondering, what's the switch beside the cannon for, and how much time do you have to run from center of room to the cannon when the message appears? The videos I watch didn't go too indepth on them, and I don't want to fuck shit up on my next run. Is there a certain % the boss needs to hit before it goes into the charge mode so I can pre-emptively prepare the cannon?

The thing even worth using during the 30% zerg? I was just doing normal DPS (lolhealerdps) during that phase last time, and the screen was nearly pitch black when it died. Granted, no DPS in that group had a glowin weapon, so perhaps we were undergeared a bit.

The lever next to the cannon actually "summons" it. At 70%, our healer just goes and activates a mirror to first remove the blind, and then will run and activate the cannon and wait for the shield to knock it down, and then repeats. The blind and shield are timed in a way where one person can handle both. If the cannon is destroyed at any time by moves from the boss, you need to use that lever to summon it again.

If your group isn't well geared, the cannon is worth using at ~30-31% to knock it down and give you some free dps time at the start of the zerg phase. I -think- the cannon goes away under 30% and is no longer useable.

Are they timed in the sense that they alternate? As in, for every mirror I hit, I'll need to prep/use cannon also? And is the lever for summoning the cannon instant? One of the vids mentioned something about a 30 second cooldown, wasn't sure if that's for calling it in, or for firing it again.

Bloody hectic fight at any rate for a healer, at least with the group I was with since I had to babysit the group a lot due to the dmg they were taking......probably a good thing one of the DPS handled cannon for me in that run.

Basically how it goes is after 70% I think or 80% cant remember you get a message that says "Player X can not see the truth" you then run to a mirror, click it until you get the message "a flash of light" and everything goes white and you start moving towards the cannon and summon it, then hop in and make sure the target reticle is over the center where he will run back to and then you shoot him once he gets there right away to knock him over. Rinse and repeat till 30.2% where dps should usually stop and wait for another cannon blast and then begins the burn.

It's 30 seconds between each shooting of the cannon, so if you have to shoot him before 30.2% and he's close to it, you can just sit in the cannon and fire again to push him over after 30 seconds instead of getting out and doing all that shit again. Just tell your dps what you're doing. Mystic kind of sucks on that fight at times just due to the dps losing their buff if you move away but I do love mp orbs for the burn phase as a sorc.

The lever for the cannon is not instant. I think it takes about 5 seconds or so to use. The cannon itself has a 30 second cooldown on its "shot" and the lever itself does have a cooldown as well. So, if the cannon gets killed twice in a short period of time, the lever won't be available to repair the cannon again for a little bit. Generally when I was fighting it though, the boss wasn't normally tanked near the cannon, so it shouldn't be dying too often.

Normally the cannon gets destroyed when the large laser blast happens to line up just right.

The most critical part to the dps race is everyone continuing to simply play smart and use consumables (and not have it go on a walking streak). Enig weapons came from somewhere after all.

Archer or Zerker to 60 next? Trying to decide, i'm thinking zerker since there are only 2 plate classes in game and plus castanic look awesome in plate.

    Zerker.

Nice to head straight in instead of bob and weave with sorc.

PVP wise I'd go archer though. Seems more proactive with less disappointment.

I remember reading that the best way to masterwork an item was to use Intricate Identification Scroll to identify the item and re-sealing with a regular Common Enigmatic Scroll, and repeating the process. Is this still the case? While, the Master Enigmatic Scrolls would be used to re-seal an item that has already been masterworked, right?

I wouldn't. The rate is so low on masterworking off of regular scrolls that it seems like it would be a waste of time. I just farmed my scrolls until it masterworked.

Because you might be spending less gold overall, but you could just farm the scrolls for free and get it MUCH quicker, and technically spend nothing. Seems like a waste of time because the rate is so low.

True... 1 single nexus run, can get you enough for like 2 master enigmatic scrolls and like... 5-6+ intricate identification scrolls

using normal id/enigmatic scro0lls, may take few hundred scrolls/few hundred gold, and only know of 1 person trying to do it in guild.
