Don't forget you really need 3 of them, so make sure you budget at least $3600 for monitors.

Its actually less but yes you need three of them and a tri-sli/xfire setup if not quad.
Its godmode.
So anyway, the 25 fps halfcapture is working great, and going to vegas to make it an mp4 after handbrake is working wonders.
Getting 1080p now on youtube even if the video is recorded at 16:10.
Still looking for other software suggestions, maybe fraps isn't the best choice. I don't like how it records sounds unfortunately.
Dxtory.
It's fucking godmode.
the current betas of MSI afterburner have an included video recording feature, it's pretty neat. only drawback i found so far is that it can only record sound going to your speakers/headset. noticed when i recorded an ifrit fight and everyone on teamspeak was on it, just not me xD
Played with the msi client, dxtory is way better.
I'm having problems with dxtory.
I can't view the video in VLC after recording it, its telling me VLC cant play xotr files. I also can't handbrake it or render it in sony vegas.
What settings do you use for dxtory?
You can either change the codec you're using in dxtory ( there's a drop down list you can select ).
I run it through Avidemux to convert it to a format that sony/etc can deal with. ( How I'm doing it ).
Using the YUV420 medium setting gives nice file size+compression along with no recording FPS drop that I get with fraps/afterburner/etc.
Or you can switch codec to something like http://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html
I'm not sure why VLC won't support the dxtory codec, they used to but removed it for some reason.
