Now he kind of shows up into other people's bands and sings with his weird voice but when he was doing the White Stripes, he wrote a lot of good music, at least to me.

I'd go so far as to say Jack White is one of the best artists of our generation. Almost everything he does is original and unique sounding. Super wide range of music from bluegrass to heavy rock, and he doesn't always take the spotlight in his bands (see dead weather). I don't know what formula or whatever you're using to gauge the talent of an artists these days but I think you forgot to carry the 2. World needs more Jack Whites before all we have is fucking skrillex and lmfao garbage.
