Oh I'm glad you are pulling things out of your ass with no factual backing to support a ridiculous idea. I think people haven't been buying TVs because they don't even want the offchance of seeing Mitt Romney's face in their home. This belief of mine is rooted in the fact that it's impossible to get any data behind it. Socialism.
How does this affect people in the health care field? My gfs aunt works at a radiology center and they just downsized and cited the ACA was the cause
Oh Gods. My head.

Ok, I admit... I actually do believe that people are that stupid, I just wanted to read people being that stupid.
I was on ClubRSX a long time ago, and I read a thread by a kid that said that Toyota had stolen the idea for the IS300 lights from Honda aftermarket Altezza lights. I had to punch something.
You don't think the economy in the toilet has anything to do with this? What happens when the economy slows - do more or less people have health insurance? And when fewer people have insurance, is the insurance company making more or less money? And when the insurance company is making less money, where do they need to recoup that money?
Socialism.
Ideally they'd be more likely to get some money for every patient so that they can even out revenues and stop charging ludicrous prices to the people who are actually capable of paying(the insured), so they'll have a little more stability for paying employees. In practice I'm sure it won't be that simple since they'll have to create some new billing processes and such. Also it could work like gas where spikes in oil prices/gas commodities result in instantaneous large price increases at the pump, but decreases take months to offset prices in other directions since companies enjoy being very profitable.
I started laughing out loud then boss comes over and asks whats so funny so I show him your post... We loled. That's so fuckin stupid.
As for the whole going towards socialism... It was almost always corporate socialism. Now that it's helping average people it's socialism and it must be stopped!
Conservative radio is fucking gold today. Delicious.
Red Herring, etc.
Everyone I work with supports this. If they downsize and fire people, citing ACA as the reason, they're just trying to save CEO paychecks. Insurance companies will still reimburse a relative amount of cost no matter what. They just don't want to actually have to pay out to hospitals and offices, which is why they come up with so many loopholes to avoid it. Why else do you think ICD-9s exist?
To compound on that, there is no difference between reimbursing $5,000 for one person getting a procedure or $500 for ten people getting the same thing. They just would like to have $5,000 because if one person can afford it that's all they need. Now that 10 people can afford it the relative cost goes down but the number of people who can pay it go up. It's called VOLUME.
Oh man. I couldn't listen to that shit without raging like the Hulk.
I lost my radio so I guess I just have to wait for daily show tomorrow![]()
There's also a prevision where 80% (I heard 90% though) of health care funds must go to patient care/cost.
That's a pretty big deal.
