disable P2P, close and reopen launcher, this stopped that crap for me, and i originally disabled p2p with the inital tera download, but it was turned back on for some reason, so make sure you doublecheck.

Checksum refers to how your files match up to what they think you should have installed. 99% of the time it gives you a checksum error is because you either modified your game files in some way, or some of the files you downloaded are corrupt. If you have Elin dat swaps, get rid of them before any update or you will fail checksum every single time.

FYI, according to a GM I spoke to this morning they are also working on the "bug" that doesn't allow you to delete characters from full servers. Unfortunately he didn't have any information beyond that. So it's good to hear they're opening up more slots on VoT to allow deletions/new chars, but also fixing the root problem.

Funny thing is I made my toon on JC then checked BG and then promptly deleted it and remade on VoT now I can't delete... Guess I'll try again tomorrow at 7... Hope I get my name.

We were all in the same boat, though in reality there's a higher chance of your name being available on JC than on VoT unless it's some really, really mainstream name.

Seriously, how I was able to snag Trogdor on two servers is beyond me. People have no class if they don't want to name themselves after the Burninator. I'm offended.
