This reminds me of the time I was playing Paper Mario and my dad told me to clean the kitchen and I said "why don't you?"
Needless to say, I didn't play Paper Mario anymore, or anything N64 related :X

Growing up, with a single mom....you knew better than to talk back. Kids these days, jesus fuck.
I remember being about 16 and telling my dad to piss up a rope when asked to do something. Needless to say, I had my ass belted clean off with a wet cotton rope and for the next several days even thinking of sitting hurt like hell.
Hmm, with all the people thinking she'd go postal eventually over her dad shooting the laptop, I wonder what my future kids will do to my family if I had the bomb squad where I work detonate their cell phone?
Be sure to film it, that would be win.
I agree. My mom raised me and my two brothers by herself. She had a full time job, coached my Baseball and Hockey teams, set up numerous outings for school and much more. When I was about 7 she made a rule. I'm allowed to swear all I want around my friends but if she ever catches me swearing around her or hears about me swearing around my friends parents she'd beat me till I bled. I still follow some of that rule today. I'm 24 and I don't swear around her at all.
And that guy is my hero. There are two routes the daughter could take after that.
Be more secretive( a lot more) when she bitches about her parents or learn some fucking respect. Fucking spoiled kids these days man. A while back when I was patrolling the local while working I saw a 6-9 year old tell his mother to 'Buy me that new Iphone you bitch". I was expecting to see the kid get smacked but sadly all the mother did was laugh and buy the thing.
Good for the dad and I don't see how destruction of a laptop makes people want to go postal. Yea I'm sure someone could dig up an article somewhere that some kid killed his family after they took his gameboy away ect but really people?
Dad is a hero and being civil about it afterwards and doing the right thing which is making her understand what she did was wrong. Sure maybe a paragraph or two might not warrant a laptop execution but I knew better then to pull shit past my dad after he warned me the first time. Now she knows it won't fly.
Also for the 3 of you who say the chores are too much and she shouldn't have to pick up after others then we can go with that.
She should buy her own food, pay her own cellphone bill(has one I bet), pay rent, and her own car or pay for gas when they drive her places. Then her dad will clean his own counters and wash his own dishes. I doubt she would bitch if she was made to do all that.
Awesome vid and in the end from the comments on the FB page and whatnot it looks like she learned her lesson.
Just reading this thread you can tell who grew up in the 70's and 80's and those who grew up in the 90's/2000's(when tough parenting died).
When I was bad as a kid, my mom whipped my ass with a belt, when I did bad in school I was grounded until the next reportcard and only got off if my grades were better (9 weeks inbetween reportcards)
My mom didn't fuck around, school meant serious business, it was not a time for fucking off and being derpy. As long as I did what I was told to do, kept decent grades they didn't have any gripes with me but as soon as I got off course the hammer was brought down.
Kid should do her chores instead of nerd raging over facebook, she could have probably done half of her chores in the time she wrote that nerd raging QQ post on facebook.
Am I the only one who thinks this guy is dumb? He isn't a good enough parent to teach his child to be respectful to their elders, so he shoots their fucking computer? How about... uh... be a better dad? I don't see this guy as a hero, just a failure as a parent. The kid disrespecting him is just evidence of his failure as a parent.
And its always in these threads you can already tell whos future kids are going to be epic failures
