Synopsis:

Marty is a struggling writer who dreams of finishing his screenplay 'Seven Psychopaths'. All he needs is a little focus and inspiration. Billy is Marty’s best friend, an unemployed actor and part time dog thief, who wants to help Marty by any means necessary. Hans is Billy’s partner in crime, a religious man with a violent past. Charlie is the psychopathetic gangster whose beloved dog, Billy and Hans have just stolen. Charlie’s unpredictable, extremely violent and wouldn’t think twice about killing anyone or anything associated with the theft. Marty is going to get all the focus and inspiration he needs, just as long as he lives to tell the tale.

- Mickey Rourke dropped out of The Expendables 2 to star in the film. However, he later dropped out of Seven Psychopaths after having disagreements with McDonagh, calling him a "jerk-off". He was replaced by Woody Harrelson.

Sam Rockwell always entertains me. Tom Waits...is there anything he's done that's noteworthy? All I remember seeing him in was the Dracula movie with Keanu, and Tom was awful in it(well, it was an awful movie too).

Because it's within the same genre. Just because it feels like Snatch doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Lock Stock, Layer Cake, In Bruges, & Rock'n'Rolla were all enjoyable films, too.
