looking forward to it. kevin smith and crew are also doing a companion podcast to go with it. Sweet.
I get off of work at 10pm and only live 5min away, but DVR is set. This looks great !
Can't wait.
Im going to watch, partially because it's on right after Walking Dead. I really do not have high hopes for it though.
Commercials make it look like Pawn Stars at a comic store.
3 minutes in and talking about what comic heroines they want to fuck...way to break stereotypes /facepalm
Between this and Walking Dead I feel like I'm being too negative, but this show is pretty horrible.
I like how TWD comics are in almost every shot when they're at the counter...
Fat bitch was fat
Yep, even at my local comic book shop, there is Walking Dead stuff set up in multiple spots, including near the register.
Ragging on that asian hard
jesus christ that song they played after the commercial break sounds like they arent even trying to pretend they arent horribly ripping off Pawn Stars.
I struggled to watch through it. It did nothing interesting.
disappointing show, not sure why they made it like Pawn Stars / Oddities. The bullshitting on the podcast was kinda funny, I thought it would be more like that but in the comic shop with random customers coming in and that being filmed. Basically like a reality Clerks in a comic shop with Kevin Smith.
I want the part with them talking around the table. The rest of the show isn't very interesting.
I didn't like the actual price negotiations ala pawn stars but I like it as reference material for their round table chat. That needs to be the main focus of the show.
Pawn stars works because you never know what people bring in and some of the historical background is interesting. (and Chum-Le is comedy) I suppose its necessary as material for the show to work with.
Love me some Kevin Smith, but this show was fucking terrible.
