^ ditto. Saw a rerun of it today. WTF did I just see... there were a few funny jokes but mainly the table chat was more interesting. I liked that clerks idea mentioned earlier in this thread.

I didn't think the premiere was terrible. But I highly doubt the chances of making a season entertaining enough to watch every week. Let's be honest, a show about comic book store employees isn't exactly going to pull in the masses.

Turned it off right there. Show wasn't much entertaining before that part either. Betting this show will not get renewed.

Yeah I loved that, and I felt like this episode was a bit better overall. But if I didn't listen to SModcast and the other related podcasts, or wasn't a huge Smith fan, I doubt I would be watching from week to week. I think that's the obstacle the show has to overcome.

Those criticisms seems on par with what I've seen of the first episode. Dislike the pawn star aspect and the way they explained about that flea market made it sound epic.

What I saw was some people selling comic junk to a public park where families go to picnic and grill. I know nothing about that flea market so I was dissapoint.

Oh, I agree with some of the criticisms of the show. I just don't think that someone who titles an article "The Next Bad Kevin Smith Thing" should be reviewing...Kevin Smith things.
