Something to possibly note, when talking to the dude running the private server, the game saves your character data every 30 seconds (probably the same time mobs repop) unless you zone, then it saves then, too. Since your XYZ coordinates will be included in that, it's possible illogical differences in distance between saves without utilizing teleports or other valid transportation methods can set flags, with being in impossible locations (other sides of impassible walls) a definite indicator. Basically going above flee speed on foot is pretty dumb, and even that can be sketchy for long durations.

I have to disagree with going to impossible locations, since it's very possible to glitch fall around stuff (piers in windy, khazam are obvious examples) allowing you to walk to places impossible otherwise. The 'saving of char data every 30s' is a moot point, since the client sends your position nigh on every second, making it trivial to detect impossible (> flee) speeds. Anywhere 'up to' flee speed though is fair game.

They might just not monitor it. First time I hung out in impossible places legitly I played around for a good couple hours. But eventually I was mysteriously warped to a normal spot in zone without the normal loading messages and such. And since I was so far out I doubt it's cause someone saw me. I was at the lighthouse at the time lol

Going too far out of the range of the traversable portion zone will place you back on the map at a fixed point. Doesn't apply to every zone for some reason.

Wasn't that. I'd already traveled every spot I could get to in zone a few times. Oddly there was still some things I couldn't pass thru

My group's been using dual body boosts for a couple of weeks now. At first it didn't seem necessary with Embrava and Regen V, however having such a high HP along with the massive Regen allows you to more or less ignore Sneak and Invisible.

Don't you more or less ignore it anyways?

Glitches happen, yeah, and falling through the docks in Windurst or Kazham isn't really gonna break the game, either. As a method to otherwise detect shenanigans in a location yielding resources, though, it can be a marking point for investigation. SE's sorta proven attempts at automation can backfire, so insta-gibbing people every time there was a genuine client mistake would be a GM nightmare. At present, saying their attention hasn't been called to this zone in particular would be kinda silly, and it otherwise being low traffic shouldn't make it too hard to monitor.

Either way, walking has a set speed. Yeah, it can be improved slightly through +movement gear and other buffs, but they also have limited durations or can drop when attacked or attacking. Take in enough data, and enough blips over even best possible mid/long-term conditions (gear+mazurka+sprinter's) and you're basically painting a bullseye on yourself. It's just up to SE to fire the bullet, and it seems like they are.

Dual mana boosts is really nice on BLU, especially with convert.

Yeah that's pretty much how we treat it too. I think at one point yesterday I had 8 mobs swinging at me and they couldn't get past Regen/Brava/Cata. It helps a lot for some Leaders who have the capability to drop a normal DD but can't with Body Boost.

It's also a decent way to time yourself since as soon as BB wears you're just past the halfway point.

This is why you probably don't have any 100 gear.

He has some aversion to BLU's DDing with swords for some reason. While spells are a nice source of dmg, its pretty silly to ignore our sword damage potential.
