Thats the plan...you're already practically capped on magic haste via embrava, and the regain screws with your x-hit so you might as well optimize gear with the feet slot vacant.

Yep, just use them and swap another pair in. Most jobs will be just fine capping haste without a feet slot.

lol JP, I doubt there will be mass bannings though as the game would suffer greatly from such a large loss of players at this point. Also, they haven't banned in the past for the ENM thing or VNMs and people abused those 24/7, but who knows.

For what it's worth, the salvage exploit was pretty damn obvious that it was a bug and not supposed to happen, and people who used the exploit repeatedly were indisputably manipulating it to get results that were literally impossible for other players to get.

With Nyzul, the content is theoretically possible without any sort of third party tools, so you can make the argument that they aren't getting any extra results through them.

Salvage exploit could be done from the PS2 and, though /acmd leave seems like a weird way to dramatically increase the effort:reward ratio of an event, this is the company that gave us /fume.

This exploit involves intentionally changing game data. Apart from the fact that they probably can't tell if you were using the .dat swaps unless you also weren't using Vent and like to use <t>, I also don't think they'd bother to punish for it. For salvage there were easy lines they could draw, permabanning everyone that had ever broken an alliance and temp banning anyone else that had been in a broken alliance in those areas. Someone probably wrote a script in a few hours and sorted out the lists. Going through the chat logs to convict people would be a much heavier assignment, and would take a group of interns a summer.
