Apparently right before they got whisked off to Gaol, they had one of those code floors where everyone hit and the lamp didn't turn on. More proof, if any is needed, that that's the result of a GM being present observing.

I have, we had to use flys to exit because we couldn't continue. Never been jailed though.

I heard they GM'd a buyer for not paying then proceeded to keep doing runs with 3 buyers at once while waiting for the GM to respond. I'd guess the buyer they GM'd told the GM he saw them hacking.

Last 3 runs with set up balanced as following : DRKx2 apoc both or one with OaT (this one needed gears), vere MNKx2 = 8/10, 80% wins. When we lost we were on 90+ floors.

We tried an unbalanced set up (with 3 drks, 1 mnk) and got 0/4.

I'm pretty sure luck and skills are still required though.

Updating it we are 13/17 on last 5 runs, balanced and experienced group seems to work.

Some parties aren't doing anything that GMs can jail them for. Nobody started reporting this issue until GMs got involved in Nyzul, and it makes perfect sense.

How does it make perfect sense? If a GM is going to watch runs, they can just watch runs, why would they need to use a lamp that doesnt work and kills runs or everyone when they have the power to just watch you while invisible?

I think that's the point. They are watching you invisible so the Code lamp registers them as being on the floor and therefore doesn't work when everyone clicks it as the GM has not. It expects input from everyone on the floor which unfortunately includes the GM.

And depending on when it pulls up this list for people needing to hit code lamps, it may well be that a GM can watch you on FL1 and then fuck off but you get a Code lamp on 90+ and it still expects input from them. I haven't been unlucky enough to get a code lamp after someone has DC'ed midrun so I don't know.

Actually they have. If its in the logs that an agreement was set "You do X, I'll pay you Y", and the person doesnt pay, they can be jailed...or the GM will step in to force the transaction.

Exactly. I'm pretty sure we got a code once while someone was DCed and it let us proceed, but I can't say it with certainty. Runs tend to get too hectic to think clearly when people DC.

All members that enter need to hit the code lamp, if anyone dc's during the run and you hit a code floor you have to wait for them to relog, and tag the lamp before you can proceed. It's a bitch when someone is hit with shitty internet pixie on the day you feel like doing Nyzul.
