So I played a little with FFXIDB number ;

dvalih jonah was killed 3238 times
archaic rampart was killed 28233 times

Assuming you average 18 jumps, that all of the 6 members are using GW, that killall floors are 25% rate (only reason to kill rampards), and that only one person sees a rampart being killed during those floors (which is likely since you split), that's a win rate of 3238/((28233/4.5))/6=8.6%. So that's likely the actual rate that cheaters are experiencing, and this is likely still acounting the ability to guess order 100% since the fix was only recent.

I see what you did there, but assuming ramparts only get killed on kill all floors is very flawed. Especially with all the noob groups that do NN often.

They get killed because of aggro, to build TP, cause bored waiting on others or because they are in AoE range.

Also a ton of people don't use GW. I keep GW logged off for the most part and have 30+ NN wins. (maybe more)

You're displaying the same reading literacy, or lack there-of, as Pchan at the moment. I was merely talking about HIS situation. I'd never RMT my characters (Tor + Okiru both being mine) and both will stay loaded with gil (think around 160M) and gear. In fact, both chars have KCs and all the bells and whistles. MY decision was not to pursue an afterglow because accumulating that much in assets to turn it into a perpetual glow to massage my e-dick would be stupid. At that point, you might as well liquidate those assets and get some hookers and blow to get your actual dick massaged.

Guild work stats are reprensentative about the drop rates of a certain community (harcore NAs).You think there are a lot of noobs doing NQ nyzul that also use guild work? The amount of people who farm nyzul NQ for points are mythic builders, that's neglectible.

Again, the point is that any accusations you throw at someone regarding the opportunity cost of playing an MMO can easily and justifiably be thrown right back at you, especially considering you are (or were) a hardcore player. There's really no point in even bringing it up since it's a dead-end discussion.

Nyzul Isle investigation is the same zone as Nyzul Isle Uncharted, and Archaic Ramparts are called Archaic Ramparts in both runs. As reflected by the 671 cerb, 724 hydra and 814 khimaira kills that ffxidb had when I made this post, quite a few nq nyzul runs have been added. You typically kill a lot more archaic ramparts than bosses.

Are you being intentionally obtuse, or do you really not understand how stupid your argument is?

The conversion rate is a constant(relatively speaking), and the only part of that equation subject to change is the opportunity cost imposed by one side. You're arbitrarily deciding that y-amount is greater than z-amount, and is therefor a stupid investment.

To be fair I think the point he's trying to make is that any accusation of wasting time or resources on a video game can very easily be flipped around to become a discussion about the opportunity cost of playing video games period. In the end it's all the same - the hundreds of hours we've each put into FFXI could have been spent in a more 'productive' manner (but let's not get philosophical), so there's no sense in ragging on one person in particular for how they've chosen to use their time.

WoTG was such a successful expansion, take that as an example of how SoA will probably be handled as well.

Was shouting for a DD & got a /tell from a DNC stating that his DNC can out damage a mnk or average war in NNI. I Loled and was almost tempted to invite him to see what would happen. I've been told Blu is amazing in NNI, but i've yet to see it with my own eyes. Order lamp floors & shitty jumps can hurt a run, but NNI isn't impossible. My favorite event, and i wish I could do it more. Lol.
