as for cleaving, my group has a 95 ukon war who does it occasionally. in the kill all floors where the map splits in multiple directions, it proved to be quite useful, but its not always a cleave all on kill all floors.

I didnt see it anywhere in this thread, maybe I am blind. We have done ~6 Neo Nyzul runs, and while I know it is a small sample size, every time we have gotten lamps it has been code. Can anyone debunk this? Maybe we are just getting lucky.
Edit: Nvm, just got order.
You're getting lucky. Have had time and order on multiple occasions.
How many floors are people able to do on average? Our group just tried last night for the first time, best we could do was 12 or 13 floors, but we kept getting fucking with families. We got families over 10 times in the 3 runs we did![]()
Think we've been managing 12-15 with fuck ups and being screwed by the objectives. I think a well drilled group could probably do 15+ most runs if they weren't screwed.
You'll basically end up in the 60-80 range most runs once you're into the swing of things. I think most will aim for 80 but will also understand a bad floor or two or crappy ports or a death will mean they will probably have to settle for 60.
usually 60-70 is where we reach our time limit-- i think it might be wise to use a few temps at the start before going up and praying you dont land on a lamp floor if youre aiming for 100
flee hack and apradar have been used for nyz isle and salvage since ToA release, that's nothing new, why people are complaining now? smells like sucksbox360 users
I would laugh if Tanaka made floor 100 impossible to get to without cheats, just so people can use cheats. Then he waits 1 month and bans all the cheaters. Then they change the rules to old nyzul isle where you can start where your disc left off. I would applaude Tanaka then...
Use soul voice, have a level 95 or 99 empyrean harp on that BRD. Use embrava on SCH both at the START of nyzul isle. Grab fanatics drinks, spy drinks and any other drink you can find in less then 30 seconds. Skip all boss floors, 20 40 60 80... skip it all.
Bring jobs that can survive on their own and wreck with embrava/soul voice.
If you brought a BLU, he uses his entire MP count on the NM floors(kill family or enemy leader) as fast as humanly possible along with ethers. Zerg Floor 100 with fanatics and 2 hours, dont interrupt any self SCs.
If that doesn't take you to floor 100 after a "few" practices(20 lol) or there is no free floors in neo-nyzul at all... then this event is broken.
So had anybody reached 100 yet? I've not been keeping up with the thread.
Also tonight we killed two level 20 bosses, two level 40 and a level 60 boss and not a single drop, does anybody take a THF? We considered it but we would lose a lot of damage from a SAM.
Not sure why you'd be wasting time/effort/tags and not bringing a THF. If you can't do the event with a THF, then you shouldn't do the event.
A good thf should be fairly competitive with a sam on these types of fights, so there's no reason to exclude solely because of that. Last time I did dynamis (ie: DC mobs, should be somewhat comparable to Nyzul stuff) with a (good) sam while I was on thf, I was at 47% of the parse to her 51% (remainder was the whm who occasionally joined in on the melee). And of course she had the advantage since she doesn't lose as much from not having /war sub due to Shoha's attack bonus, and I was handling most of the Haste Sambas.
Typical caveat that a parse (much less a single parse) doesn't show everything that was going on. Only real consideration is ensuring the thf has a partner so they can use SATA effectively.
We had a static for old Nyzul which included a well-geared, well-merited, very intelligent THF. Great damage output, excellent team member, plus there's no point in doing the event if the loot's not going to drop. If you have someone like that, take them along.
SCH is decent to bring and leave at the rune but I'd save it for around 15 mins in. If you're flying through the floors then get Embrava on, it lasts 12mins 30secs. If you're getting screwed save it for the next run.
For most floors AoE Regen V will be more than enough to see people through a kill-all floor. The early ones anyway.
2 SCH fulltime embrava MNK MNK MNK thf? Reset 2hrs in abyssea after each run.
Bring Magian Specs, leave SCH at rune, keep Embrava for the entire run.
Magian specs depop, so don't depend on that for a mule (Word of caution).
