apradar type programs give you a huge advantage in finding mobs/lamps as well.

Old nyzul was the same way really, there just wasn't much incentive/advantage, since you were generally only aiming to clear 5 floors anyway.

Looking at the NM list. If they upped the level of these NMs, some of them seem like they could potentially end your climb, because of the time it would take to kill them, if you have to kill them. Like Vivian, potentially Suzaku if you can't silence it, Ash Dragon.... etc.

EDIT: Just so there's no misconceptions, I have a problem with events that showcase your ability to cheat with third party tools, instead of your ability to go progress through stuff and actually work towards goals.

Okay....what is the point of putting NQ versions on floor 20? No one is going to want to do them. Ditto for 40. Most of the good items don't seem to drop till floor 60 and even then it appears it will take a lot of luck to get that far.

first trial run with random jobs got us to 51, 60 should be farmable, 80 with some luck and 100 for JP only.

Floor 8: Leader - Scutum Chariot. Basically a levelled up shield chariot. Back to back Stun/Paralyze killed me.

Floor 20: Boss - Dabargar the Stoic - Was fairly straightforward. Constant flash from BLU BLU SCH/WHM was really helpful. Also White Wind is really helpful, as he didn't seem to lose hate after Head Snatch (observation, needs verification). -Na Spells are a must for any run. Dropped: Tethyan Cap, Rheic Mitts, Cotton Coin Purse. Purse had 17 Alexandrites inside.

Floor 28: Lamps - Order - Floor with Soulflayers and Imps, ate a lot of time.

The one run I've been on, we hit 20 & 40 on randoms and eventually got kicked out on floor 57 trying to hit 60.

Just did 3 runs hitting 61, 64 and 72. Hit ??? floor almost every time unless we were close to a boss floor.
Rheic Mitts +1 off F40, Pouch only off F60

MNK WAR COR NIN THF WHM set up, though THF just stayed at run for most of the runs.

Anyone else feel like the 30 minute wait time was less of a congestion countermeasure and more of an intentional additional bottleneck?

It's gonna make PUGs a bitch and a half having to wait a whole half hour to repeat. That's plenty of time for people to wander off, afk, fall asleep, watch porn or have unfortunate goldfish catch fire.
