    Hmm.

That sounds like a) you got GM'd, they went to your group and jailed all moving people (only watched you for 5s)

Or b) spot check, watched for 5s, jailed moving people

Or c) red flag somehow, watch for 5s, jailed movers

Really, the 3 scenarios we already knew were occurring, but that they are obviously not banning JP's and not really watching you do anything. Since this has now happened to 3+ groups in just a couple days, I don't think you can necessarily rule out GM'd yet, but that possibility is a bit more unlikely. It could be that people read this thread/AH and saw GM's were banning people, and felt more compelled to act. If it keeps happening (and people are somehow still using clipper in Nyzul) then you could probably rule out being GM'd and go with spot check/red flags.

Maybe it's just regain feather all over again. They're just auto-banning people that have unusually high amounts of 100 gear.

That could easily be their red flag, sure. It would also mean/confirm they have no way to record/log movement speed in nyzul and are basing their "spot checks" entirely on the acquisition of gear. It could also explain some not being banned.

For those who got caught, did the people with you have their gear in their cumulative inventory, mule it, etc?

The five members that were jailed all had 100 gear on their person and were actively using it at the time of the run and while being jailed; the 6th member that was not jailed had his gear either in inventory/safe/sack/etc (although I can guarantee he couldn't equip any of it due to being on SCH). I highly doubt that the five of us were jailed just because we were wearing 100 gear, rather than that common factor merely being coincidental. As was stated earlier, it was likely because we were the 5 members that were actively moving, regardless of which ones were and were not clipping.

I can also tell you that each member of our group only has two or three 100 floor pieces, so being in possession of a statistically improbable amount of 100 gear given the number of runs a particular group has had the opportunity to complete since Neo-Nyzul's release certainly does not apply to our case in question.

But was it even possible to get the highest feather without movement speed/pos hacking?

Got a question for our Nyzul group.

We seem to not be able to hit floor 100 as much as we think we should. I just don't get it
    Setup Mnk(vere), Drk(Rag), Sam(Masa/Yoichi), War(Ukon), Sch, Sch
We go through the usual embrava and stuff and generally do 19 floor clears and average about 3.8-4.4 floors per jump and generally land at 80 or mid 80s.
So many 2 floor jumps( about on average 8 2 floor jumps per run)
Not to mention about 50% of the floors are all floors. (All, Family, All, Family, All, 5 lamp same time, All, etc etc). Not to mention all the all floors go on forever.

Is it that we have terrible luck or is there some sort of voodoo to not get a 2 floor jump? Please help.

I am only aware of two permabans--both of which had previous third party tool offenses.

I'll know tomorrow night, but my perma wouldn't be directly related to nyzul. Previous offenses, etc.

As I am certain you already know, since the "??? Floor" option moves you up between 2 and 9 floors, the average number of floors this option will produce is +5.5. So, in that regard your 3.8-4.4 floors per jump is significantly lower than the average--this is just plain bad luck. To motivate your group, the real key factor to focus on is the number of jumps you make per run. I did some rough math for our group and found that if you can make 16 jumps in 28 minutes and 30 seconds, along with assuming that your ??? jumps average out to 5.5 over the course of the run...you will have ~11% chance of hitting 100 while also having 90 seconds to kill the 100 boss and for obtaining temps at the beginning. If you are clearing 16-17+ floors per run, just stick with it and the dice will roll in your favor eventually.

There are many methods in which they could autonomously flag your group for investigation, although I'm still inclined to believe it's players reporting other groups or random screenings because of how seemingly random these occurrences are. Perhaps a temporary solution until they can get better preventative measures in place.

Yeah we always go ??? floors unless we're at 79 and we are almost out of time. Thats pretty much the only time we go up 1 floor and I don't count those. If I did, I'm sure the floor average would drop even further. Its been 3 weeks since our last floor 100 clear and every single time our floor average is <5. Today we hit our highest at 4.6 floors. I really just don't understand how we keep rolling shit floor jumps for 3 weeks in a row.

Probably for the same reason my group was jailed after hitting 100 twice, while other groups are 15/15 and got out clean as a whistle--shit luck.

Look at the bright side, I'm sure someone's luck has been bad enough for this to happen...somewhere.

it's been said before, but you can try swapping the mnk out for a 2hand DD, since they will benefit more from the embrava (preferably something with hasso)

other than that, make sure everyone who can uses fillmode and has lamp dats and you'll hit 100 eventually.

That is just terrible luck. We generally manage anywhere between 17 and 21 clears tending more towards the higher end rather than lower end and our 100 rate is ~20% ish. And if anything I'd say we were unlucky rather than lucky so that should probably be a bit higher.

We went through a terrible run not so long back with a string of 8 or 9 runs in a row without hitting 100 despite clearing 18-20 in all those runs. Then bounced back with 2 100's within 3-4 runs of each other I think.

It happens. Just keep plugging away and you'll definitely get there sooner rather than later if you can clear 19 floors. Just try to not get too demoralised in the meantime.

iirc, possible, but really really hard. Basically required flee, powder boots, intricate knowledge of the mountain, bards at certain places to mazurka, etc.

But is this even possible without some kind of obvious 3rd party help? I mean has anyone done this without the very least knowledge of the floors that can't normally be obtained? They might not realize that's how you are winning and just assume it was movement speed

It probably is possible but just highly, highly unlikely. On the runs we did without fillmode / DAT edits we we got like 17, 17, 19 but I'll openly admit we had a lot of luck involved. We didn't roll any Lamps Order in those runs and all the Spec 1 floors were near the lamps so we were very lucky. I think the 19 had a free floor too.

It's theoretically possible but it will feel like you're pissing in the wind a lot of the time. Lamps Order is going to be a run ender quite frequently and Spec 1 Enemy stops being such a nice floor when you have to actually track down enemies rather than just target them through walls. And everything else gets slightly harder.

You're essentially hoping for very nice floors + significantly above average ports. Even to reach 100 in 16 ports, you need ~6.2 port average. 15 is ~6.6. I reckon 16 - 17 clears (so 15-16 ports) is what a good group would hit on good runs without third party apps. Every Lamps Order is basically -1 clear to that total in the best case scenario though.

So possible, I think, just extraodinarily unlikely. Even more so because you'd have to be stupid to cap at 100 and not 80 if you could only manage those 16-17 clears.

How well did you know the one who stayed at rune that didn't get jailed? If it was a pickup, he might have been like "Uh.. these guys are fleehacking all over the place" and placed a GM call while waiting at the rune!
