[WTB] Final Fantasy Trading Card Game

So, as both a FF fan and a CCG collector, I am ashamed that I was completely unaware of a FF TCG existing in Japan.

I know we have at least a few members of the forum in Japan and I'm having a hell of a time finding these things in an English website thats not out of stock or insanely marked up.

So what I'm looking for is to see if any of our Japanese members:

A) know of any Japanese online retailers, maybe assisting me through any Japanese website text.
B) know of or actively visit a local store where you could buy these in person for me and ship them to me direct. (No idea if this is cost effective, but if it is, I'd obviously be willing to pay a little extra for your effort of actually going out to get them)


Anyway, any help is appreciated. Apparently this game is still alive and printing a 4th set next month. From what I read, the game itself is subpar, but the collector in me cannot be stopped.


Edit: I'll add that I did go direct to the official square-enix page: http://www.square-enix-shop.com/jp/f...res/index.html and checked their "Stores" section. But they all seem to just be local hobby store listings and no actual links to purchase from any of them online.

I actually wasn't aware they had the Triple Triad game in real card form. That's pretty cool. Loved that game in FF8.

Amazon JP is pretty easy to navigate the only problem is if they can't ship the item to the USA. (like games/movies they just won't do it. Books music toys all seem fine) I have had no issues using them

also the same search on http://www.yesasia.com/ well get some result and they have free ship to the usa (at least everything that I have brought)

Again I have ordered several CDS and dvd's from the site and have had no issue (Free ship is slow with no tracking though, be very patient)

Yeah like the person above me said to totally separate accounts. But you can set it up in English and by the end of your transaction you'll see the currency conversion and shipping . It is very easy

Got that part done. How do I ensure a specific seller does international. Too much Kanji once I start looking at sellers.

Found a section that they let me view in English (for Amazon fulfilled):

Yup, added a pile of items from various shippers and got denied with the following errors (what google translated to):

This site has to deliver products of the country except adult book, CD, DVD, only VHS.

Oh well. Gonna have to try elsewhere.

I love jacked up prices on imported games. Heck, that ones actually German, not Japanese. I bought this years ago for $80 USD and felt ripped off even then. As a boardgaming and cardgaming enthusiast, this game is worth $50 at best, but even with age and rarity taken into account, $236+$26 is kinda ludicrous.

Also, if anyone is getting the Tetra Master game above, not that these things aren't obvious, but in case its not, note that A) This game is a fixed box game, not a CCG. B) To simulate the computer generaed battle results, the game provides you with a chart that give you d100 percentile odds that you roll against to see if you win. Its rounded slightly in the conversion from the original Hexadecimal math in FFIX to the Decimal odds in this game. C) You randomly draw cards from a common deck. D) I can't remember the rules now, but theres also so kind of "level up" mechanic thats supposed to add handicap to the inferior player .. I think.
