What's with the ancient temple looking place they're going to? Any link to the comics? I've only really ever watched the 90s cartoon and it reminded me of some Apocalypse.

I feel like this is a Time Travel story. I really hope they pull it off, because I hate time travel.

Alternate universe would be acceptable.

Late, but iirc it originates from the 28 days later soundtrack (John Murphy)... And has since appeared in so many movies/trailers it's hard to track.

Ugh, was originally pretty excited, but I'm afraid this is going to turn into another Wolverine movie with the rest of the X-men hanging around in the background. I've never had a major hard-on for Wolverine and for me the overexposure of him in the X-titles is what pushed me more towards DC over Marvel when I was reading comics years ago.
