Iced tea is awesome. So is hot tea.

Fuck sweat tea though. However, if I do use sugar, regular white shit for me. Fuck all that sweet n' low and sugar in the raw bullcrap.

I become a huge iced tea drinker when I stopped drinking soda like crazy (only drink soda like once a month now).

I really don't get these people who feel if you add something you are a massive faggot. and to that I tell them next time you have a hamburger, only have bun and meat, if you add anything to it you aren't a real hamburger fan, don't add spices to all kinds of foods because you aren't a real food fan.

In this case, the reason that I am an insufferable faggot is that milk/cream can distract from the flavour of the bean in lighter roasts.
Definitely goes well with darker roasts though.

well why is the natural bean taste objectively something that needs to be kept. again with the hamburger example, adding anything to it will distract from the meat taste. I would encourage someone to try coffee/tea without anything added to give it a shot and see how it is but if putting something as crazy as a diced kiwi in the drink makes it taste better for them then they should absolutely do it.

I get this, but what sort of gets me is when some people who have to drink coffee with cream/sugar are patently disgusted by black coffee.
At that point, it just strikes me that caffeine pills might just be a better option.

well obviously cream/sugar changes the taste to the point where they enjoy it and it's not only a caffeine issue but also a drink that they enjoy and get energy from. this seems to be a thing of 'I don't like how you enjoy things'

Lets just take sugar out of all of our food products and then see how many people still like them. Adding sugar to food and drinks is an american freedom and if you don't like freedom you can get out!

sweet tea shouldn't be alarmingly super sweet (like with an aftertaste) or super syrupy. It should be just sweet enough, a little hint of it. it is supposed to be subtle, not overpowering. too sweet and syrupy makes it all thick and gross and not refreshing on a hot day. sweet tea is an art, y'all.
