Some of the best stuff i've heard from Yoko Kanno in a long time, episode was great with everything in general

Sankarea 08
Haven't hated one character this much in awhile, was a good episode to see them being "normal"

Jormungand 07
This episode showed why Valmet is one of my favorite characters in this series, besides Koko ofcourse

Eureka Seven AO is supposed to be 50 episodes like the original? Or is it only going to be 25 or so? I ask because it seems like the plot is going at a quick pace, but even if I say that, very little has been revealed about anything really.

Edit: Anime Ultima has it listed at 12 episodes, the E7 wiki has it listed at 26 episodes, and the MyAnimeList posting about it has it at 24 episodes lol

Supposedly, yes.

Sayo Yamamoto is the director of the series, making it the first Lupin title to be directed by a female.[1] Unlike the previous anime adaptations of Lupin III, Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna is much closer to Monkey Punch's original creation in art style, tone, and in the portrayal of Arsène Lupin III. It is darker, more serious and sexually oriented, and is the first series in which Lupin is not the main protagonist

Yes it is. This show is much more in line with the manga than any previous version.

Fate/Zero Ep 21

Man, I frick'n love this show. I think the key word for this episode was "atmospheric" in that the high-quality visuals and audio established a an extremely effective atmosphere, I loved the emotional rawness in the VAs as Kariya was strangling Rin and Sakura's mother.

Having said that, the episode itself was fuckawesome. Seriously, it was non-stop badassery from start to finish with some amazing "Saber VS Rider" action and the music remains spectacular. Looking forward to next week, since we getting the end of the next servant.

Accel world 8. The anime is still going along although it's paling in comparison to Tsogare and Fate/Zero. I'm not entirely sure what it is but i'm guessing it's slight reliance on japanese cliche and the er "stupider?" parts of japanese thinking is hurting my enjoyment ever so slightly.

Oh and Scarlet Rain is a bitch. I'd have trouble not slapping her right after that fight for that. She runs around the house trying to appeal to weirdo Japanese incest fantasies to the point of trying to take a bath while he's still in it, gets pissed because he bothered trying to look up a family album, slips and would have cracked her skull on the floor or bathtub if Taku hadn't jumped to catch her etc etc. So of course her response is to get even more angry because he accidentally felt a boob 30 seconds after her trying to get naked in a bathtub with the guy instead of considering the fact that she quite literally should have been lying down bleeding on the ground with a cracked skull.

I anticipate a large fanbase for her about how she's misunderstood of course.

Nazo No Kanojo 8

Show is still kinda strange but I'm still comming back for more each week, by the time the ending song came on I didnt even realize it was the end of the episode. For me this show is like her drool, cant resist it and always want more of it because it has me hooked.

Fate/Zero 21

Still beyond my expectations for this series so far, we have got some interesting developments in this show with the masters personal lives and not just them dealing with the war itself anymore. Riders last line in the episode for some reason had me rolling, I think they were kinda lost as to why Saber was following them to start with.

More Saki is always good for me. Although I think I'd just prefer them to continue the main storyline... I actually downloaded the first season again in wait for new Side-A episode and I'm re-watching it

After watching the first Saki, there is almost no way I'm going to even bother with the new one. The first series for me was 75% Yuri fanservice, 15% supernatural powers like turning invisible and ect, 10% Mahjong moves based on something I would see in the first American Yugioh series, maybe I just had different hopes for the series is all.
Anyway..

Sakamichi no Apollon 08
Well the secret is now out in the open for Sentaro to see and of course he doesn't like it at all. Now that Kaoru dropped more hints for Sentaro to notice about Ritsuko and him finally realizing it, he's probably too late to change anything so I don't see this ending very well for him at all. This show is really amazing though, they are making these characters seem like REAL PEOPLE with their own wants, desires, dreams and emotions, it has been a while since a show has made me feel like the characters I'm watching are actually alive. Best show of the season for me so far(discounting F/Z since its part2)

Lupin the III 09
Got an interesting episode here, yes there are some acid trip-worthy stuff here that I'm still trying to figure out, was great seeing Lupin and Jigen working together again in this episode. We were able to get some insight on how Fujiko really thinks about herself near the end of the episode with her and Lupin(wont spoil for others who haven't seen it yet).

Eureka Seven AO 08
Kinda slow start to this episode but so have most of the other episodes so doesn't bother me. I loved the joke that the President pulled on Ao and Fleur in the second half of the episode though. I'm sure that somewhere Ao is going to develop some kind of "Hero complex" with how he is the main one saving the day and ect, should be interesting how it comes about. Next episode we have some beach/pool service but with seeing Truth in the previews who knows how it is going to turn out.

Sankarea 09
Nothing too special here, filler episode really, was able to see what Mero thinks of Rea, and how much in common her friend has with her brother.

Pretty good stuff. Shit is happening. Things are moving in place. Shit is going to get real. Etc. Kirei is definitely one of the most fascinating characters I can think of, and his journey just continues to get better. Like his newfound partner in crime, I just find his journey of discovering entertaining to watch.
