Yeah.. Jet Set Radio Future is the vastly superior game, they should have just done that one in HD or both in one shot.

I think the timed missions are cool, it's an incetive to find the quickest paths to deal with the level and let's be real they give you enough time to tag everything on an average speed without problems, about the controls yeah they are a bit clunky but once you get used to it you don't notice it (unless...unless half-pipes... damn things) because you are grinding the shit of everything lol if i were you i would give it another shot at least until the part 3 by then you will get used to momentum, the jump grind-to grind and you will know the maps enough to do cool stuff. Personally from what i read i'm afraid i won't like JSRF, no timed stages and graffitis don't require moving the analog like a retard? MADNESS, we'll see once they relase it.
^It's actually not as easy as it sounds without the directional inputs. You have to tag some pretty ridiculous places that are very hard to reach but since there are no time limits you get to explore and find the right way to said places to tag and I just remember loving every second of it. (except when falling or failing to reach said ridiculous place)
You don't miss the analog twisting graffiti sections when you're playing JSRF.
But JSRF's stages are often too large and getting from one end to the other is a huge problem. The maps in the game were pretty useless.
JSR is a good old fashioned score attack game and the timer is designed to be your enemy. You know you're having fun when you don't want it to end, even if tag battles make you want to kill yourself and everyone around you.
I see i guess isn't as bad then i imagined it like JSR w/o analog stuff i guess it must be like collecting soul graffities on JSR but painting then it ain't bad. Oh boy tag battles the first one is horrendous until you get used to it. My only real problem with this one it's that you can replay a level to get a better a score you have to beat the whole game to be able to repeat an specific mission.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention the stupid ass analogs for the graffiti. Was annoyed within 5 minutes of the game by them. I don't think I can stand to give this game another chance. I'm just going to hope for a JSRF release.
Well if you don't like the analogs stuff yeah just forget it you aren't able to enjoy the greatness of it![]()
