No, it is mention in the legends of the north, but don't really suggest that it is located there. Supposedly a gigas found it, but that is a legend also.

From the taglines in the trailer it seems the north will be involved with the expansion in some way so I wouldn't be surprised if both the far west and far north are heavily linked lore wise.

Stupid Daylight Savings... my clock says that it's nearly 7pm US Pacific time so I thought stuff had started... Not that the piano playing isn't nice, but I wanted to hear about new content >.>

I think SE has earned some of my money again, but not until this expansion actually goes live unless they show me something worthwile that will come sooner.

Yeah, I'm not sure why people who are unsubbed now are jumping to resub for something that won't be until 2013 unless maybe they haven't played at all since the cap increases.
