Between that and Pat Robinson or w/e the name of that famous preacher is saying that Peyton Manning getting injured would be "god's work" since they traded Uber-Christian Tebow...I'm losing faith in humanity faster than I thought possible.

Former Viking claims coach taught how to injure quarterbacks

“We practiced techniques to injure players,” Culpepper said on Mike Bianchi’s Orlando-based radio show, via Jeremy Fowler of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “We would dive on a mat and aim for the knee portion of a pad like it was the quarterback, and we would practice going at that and trying to bust the quarterback’s knee. You knock the quarterback out, you win the game. . . . If you pull on their arm and land on their shoulder, you can dislocate [the shoulder] and then they’re out. We used to practice that, too.”

Wow, Curtis Lofton throws the Falcons fans under the bus:

I wanted to go to a team that, No. 1, had a chance to win a Super Bowl, had true fans, a great defensive coordinator. Then once the Saints called, I was like, 'Wow,'" Lofton said. "When I took my visit there, I loved it. I knew I was going there. I didn't need to visit anywhere else. I told my agent that.

random notes to be discussed at owners meetings:

extending replay in that all turnovers will be reviewed, the same as all scoring plays are
changing regular season overtime rules to the ones used in the playoffs
possibly pushing back the trade deadline to week 8

decent rules stuff...the turnover replay thing is gonna make the games longer though, and virtually eliminate the need for coach's challenges

    missed the best proposal:

having the official upstairs make the rulings on challenges instead of making the head referee go into the booth and take 20 minutes to decide

thought it was the ref had 60 seconds to decide to overturn, once overturned he had unlimited time to get all the details right like time on the clock, position of the ball etc

So by saying the Saints have "true fans," he was implying that the Falcons don't? lol ok.
