AFC side of the playoffs has been pretty mediocre the last 5 years.

It's swinging towards the NFC for the next decade at least - the elite AFC QBs are old.

The AFC side had the best championship game I've seen in that time frame. Steelers/Ravens murder bowl was tops and TEBOW beating the Steelers was probably the most epic game out of all of them in that period.

you completely misunderstood what he was saying. He's talking about the lack of competition, look at the lack of variety of teams that make it to the AFC championship for the past decade or even worse the super bowl.

It isn't about the lack of competition though. The AFC has had more longer established power houses while the NFC is still working on getting more of them.
