Wtf happened there
like archi said, you were wrong twice.
With Tony Romo right behind him on 3 of 5, and pretty close on the 4th.
All I know is Romo was sacked a career high last year and has missed 13 games total thanks to his O-line.holy shit
let's see
Bears 2011 offensive line: http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog...-lines-part-1/
32nd in the league.
Cowboys 2011 offensive line: http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog...-lines-part-2/
15th in the league.
Hard to score points when you are getting raped by Tuck, Osi, Strahan in one game and Jared Allen and the Williams bros in the other after your old ass O-line breaks down even further. Thanks Flozell. The biggest knock on Romo is that he comes up small in the playoffs. He has a 80.8 passer rating in his 4 playoff games (which would be 53rd in NFL history), and only scored more than 1 touchdown in 1 of those 4 (the only game he won). A guy who can't be counted on for even 12 points in the playoffs can't consider himself top-5.
Gosh, how do the other QBs deal with pass rushers?
In his 3 playoff losses, Romo was sacked twice, twice, and 6 times (in a 37-3 assrape by the Vikings)
Only one of those games was he getting "raped" - yet he lost all 3, two of which were by less than a score. In the Giants game he had two fourth quarter possessions, one ended on 3 straight incompletions, the other on 2 incompletions and a INT.
The Seattle game was lost because he had terrible butterfingers trying to hold a GW field goal.
Romo comes up small in the playoffs.
IT'S NOT ROMO'S FAULT HE SUCKS! IT'S EVERYONE ELSE!
C'mon, you know sack numbers don't mean shit. Even less so for someone like Romo who can usually avoid the sack, even if he still can't find a play to make.
You forgot to mention in that Giant's game that 2 of those incompletions in that last drive, one hit Crayton right in the chest and he dropped a surefire first down, and the other one Crayton quit on the fucking route with a wide open touchdown. The INT was the last ditch heave into the endzone.
Criticizing a QB for his holding abilities in a rainy game, when he shouldn't have been holding, is also laughable.
Romo deserves plenty of blame for the Jets/Lion game in 2011 and the Eagles game in 2009, but losing in the playoffs has been a team effort.
time to show my homer-ism like the dallas boys...
id take cam over romo. any day of the week.
Fact is, every QB is eventually going to be criticized until he is finally successful and wins a Superbowl.
No one remembers people criticizing Rodgers after he fucked up the last play vs the Cardinals in 2009 or whatever now that he has a ring, but after it happened they sure were.
Peyton also could never win the big one for years and years, until he finally did and all the criticism stopped.
It's just worse for Romo because of who he plays for.
