not sure how i feel on the panthers line. if our defense can actually play this year, we have a shot at goin at least .500 I do hate our lack of receivers after smitty though. however, its been like that for a long time and dude still produces

If you guys had Alex Smith, you'd win more.
With a mostly healthy D, particularly Beason, Ron Edwards, and having Keuchly to start for Davis, and the special teams additions I think .500 would actually be a disappointment.
With a middle of the pack D we could have easily been 10-6 last year.
Only thing that could keep us from getting into the plus side on wins I think is a sophomore slump (let's be real, do we expect him to repeat what he did last year?) or injury for Cam. Ya, he's got all the preseason prep this time around, but so do the defenses he's facing in addition to having film on him. I'd rather he didn't have to carry the team again this year.
Edit: 9-7 would make me a happy camper.
Our receivers arent so much as bad, as they are young. We get Gettis back, which is huge. Lafell finally is coming around after Pickle is no longer playing. Still have Smitty, Olsen, and Kealoha Pilares. Trust me, there is a reason we didnt target WRs this season. Naanee's sorry ass being gone is a HUGE plus for us. I know Joe Adams is a rook, but if you watched any SEC games you know that he can play, and not just on special teams. As a Gamecock alum, he made me angry quite often. Oh and dont forget, Armanti is a remnant of John Fox's dumb ass and will be gone once the season rolls around too. We will be cool. I mean Gettis wrecked shit with fucking Clausen throwing him the rock.
Yes. Having Edwards back plays HUGE dividends for us. Those that havent seen him play will soon understand, he's a very good player.
DAN CONNOR
Stats? Really? lol
Check the ppg and how many games we had to play catch up from because of our last ranked defense and last ranked special teams. Now, where did San Fran rank in defense and special teams? Dilfer2 has no point, he is making escuses on why Gore's 30 carries a game and that insane Niners D kept him safe.
Ready for some Andy "Ice" Ryan.
Didnt defend him whatsoever, just asking who Alex Smith is? If you read the article hes making excuses as to why he sucks and took credit for the Niners wins this past year. Apparently its not just yours truly that finds that hilarious.
Smith has as much to do with the Niners SB aspirations, as Pete Chilcutt did with the Houston Rockets NBA titles when Jordan was gone.
what nobody realizes is that the alex smith in question is the one that used to play tight end for the bucs
