is the holding out thing really that uncommon? seems that it happens with a handful of 'stars' every year, but i cant realy find a way to measure how it affects the team. mjd is also holding out right now for example, even though (or esp because) the team flat out told the press that he won't get the contract he wants.

but yea baltimore's kinda fucked, both joe and rr wvnt huge contracts and the team already agreed to pay suggs full salary.

check this out. despite having one of the best rb in the league jax' dvoa for play action is terrible. yet green bay's, without a star rb, is great. same with new england. despite it seeming like play action would work best on a team with a strong rb, the passing teams are still on top. also, baltimore's stats here for offense are pretty depressing considering RR...

GB's DVOA is lower on play-action plays than on non-play-action plays. They're still great sure, but worse with it than without it.
