Panthers announce extension for RB Jonathan Stewart

The team announced a five-year contract extension for running back Jonathan Stewart, which will carry him through the 2017 season.

I don't expect people who haven't followed the Cats closely the past few years (and why would you if you weren't a fan?) to understand. This kid is a special talent. He's got great hands, explosiveness, is great in pass protection, incredible strength (one of the sickest stiff arms in the league). He's an every down back and would be a #1 in most backfields.

Let's just remember that you guys were laughing and talking shit last preseason when I was trying to explain how Cam was a pass first QB and was showing great accuracy. This is another one of those scenarios.

Take a closer, objective look at JStew.
