From random season? No, from the last 2 season you fucking moron. You said he has had two good years, (and he's only played 2 full seasons), so I used those stats. I then used Witten's stats for the past two seasons as a comparison. Stay angry as fuck that Rob Gronkowski has had one outstanding season and that just because he did, doesn't make him top in the league.

Not on the Witten retard hype train like some others in here, but I still think Gronk is due for a regression.

It IS a plug-and-play system, he just has the height and the force to work very well in it. That doesn't discredit him, but it makes it hard for me to look at the guy in all his sub-average IQ brotato glory and think he's the best. I love his blocking ability, just needs a bit more consistency.

It's a weird position to rate because how much people see of a TE and what their stats are like is wildly dependent on the system. Right now we hear a lot about Gronk, Graham, Finley, etc. because they're on the teams that have made a shift towards these packages. Other teams have great TEs who are still mostly being used to block or catch a screen once in a while.

I wish the Patriots didn't have the softest schedule all the damn time, because it would be fun to see some strong defenses really shut down their offense more often. Baltimore, Seattle, Houston, San Francisco, and maybe one of the two NYJ games are some of the best chances we have to see something like that.

Like I said, I would love to see Gronk's blocking improve. Anyone who can knock down Suggs as he did shows some clear potential in that area, but he's so hungry for passes that he doesn't focus on it enough.
