I completely buy in to the RGIII hype and Judai's optimism.

A bunch of mock draft sites are saying the Browns blew it by not trading their #4, #22, and future 1st rounder for RG3 and letting the Redskins move up...

Am I alone in thinking that the Redskins overpaid?

Also, I had the best nap-dream where Justin Blackmon and Matt Kalil were both on the Vikings.

How long before Arizona starts gobbling up former Colts to entice Manning?

I'm sure they did offer those picks, Redskins package would still be better, especially if St. Louis is banking on the Skins being in the top ten of the draft for the next few years.

Any way you look at it, St. Louis is set for some time. If their scouts are even half competent they are going to be in good shape for a lot of years to come.

Randy Moss will work out for 49ers

We noted last week that the 49ers are open to signing Randy Moss, and now they’re taking another step toward that possibility.

Moss is flying to San Francisco today to work out for the 49ers on Monday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

The 49ers are the second team to give Moss a workout, following a session with the Saints last week that went very well. Moss, who bounced around the league with three different teams in 2010 and sat out the 2011 season, says he’s serious about playing in 2012 and committed to helping some team win a Super Bowl. He also claims he’s as fast as ever.

The question now is whether the 49ers, Saints or some other team will move aggressively to sign Moss before free agency starts on Tuesday afternoon. It’s a crowded class of free agents at the receiver position this year, and it could make sense for some team to get out ahead of the free agent action and get a deal done with Moss before the rest of the free agents are free to sign.

Or it could turn out that teams have too many questions about how much the 35-year-old Moss has left, and that he’ll have to wait to sign with a team that isn’t able to get anything done with one of the many younger free agent receivers available

From what I read the Browns offered the same package the Skins did but they waited too long and the Rams and Skins already had a verbal agreement. Since the CLE package only matched the Skins' one the Rams didn't want to back out. Though I personally think the Browns are worse then the Skins and will be worse the next several years, I think their draft picks will be higher then the skins' picks. Just looking at divisions, the AFC North is easily tougher then the NFC East with the Bengals actually being solid now.

and no you aren't alone Tyr, the Skins overpaid, but after 20 years of shitty QBs, we needed to overpay, and I'm glad they did.

    that CLE fan is maaaaaayad.

You might cringe at some of these names:

Griffin’s career deserves to be measured on its merits, rather than the Redskins’ prayers or the price they paid. But the backdrop is unmistakable. The Redskins just doubled down on the very same high-profile, high-cost, high-risk (or all-of-the-above) method that has introduced Washington to Deion Sanders, Jeff George, Marty Schottenheimer, Dan Wilkinson, Bruce Smith, Steve Spurrier, Mark Brunell, Adam Archuleta, Sean Gilbert, Jim Zorn, Gregg Williams, Albert Haynesworth, Donovan McNabb and Shanahan. That the list is so long and familiar doesn’t make it any less staggering.

Read the headline and skipped the rest? The Dolphins still have their chance, and are still the frontrunner according to many other reports.

Of course I did, this is the internet.

Thanks for the correction, my mistake. There are so many different things being said - one day he favors the AFC over the NFC, next he's saying Arizona looks nice, etc...
