Going to be interesting to see where Mario Williams is going to land. He has said he wants to play for a contender and will take less money. Carson Palmer is so overrated, I would never draft a QB from USC, I don't care how good Matt Barkley looks either. Remember when Matt Leinart was supposed to be the second coming of Peyton Manning? Peppers 6yr/91M deal is probably the closest comp for Mario Williams right? Is there a big time OLB that he could be compared to? 15.2M a year is a big number, but if he'll take less than the max...hmmm.

Peppers would be the most adequate comparison tbh, but he's mentioned wanting to take less money to play for a competitor. Packers are obviously in a good position still, and the Bears had the WC on lock until they lost both their QB + RB. He'd make either of their defenses monstrous.

Either way rest of the NFC has another ridiculous defense they'd have to deal with. Do not want.

Looks like Colston is going to remain a Saint, working on a deal overnight. Moss to the 49'ers makes sense, they need a deep threat to take the heat off Vernon Davis, should open things up for Crabtree if Moss can resemble anything of a few seasons ago.
