Also, I thought they handled Marshall well all things considered. They got him for what ended up being just 1 2nd round pick and a couple years of service...traded him for 2 3rds on the heels of a possible suspension. Also, Manning was never interested in Miami and the FO was never given a chance to recruit him. Media was a much bigger fan of manning to Miami than Manning was.

Of the four teams that manning met with, Miami is the only one that didn't ge a facility visit. Miami had to literally come to him, and even then, no owner and no GM were allowed to come. Just the coaching staff. Pretty sure it was just Manning being considerate as strange as that sounds.
