Cowboys being terrible has nothing to do with their super bowl wins, Tyche was insulting the 49ers saying they've only made 1 playoff berth, I'm pointing out that their recent (decade+) history is not a reflection of the entire franchise as a whole. We're not talking about super bowl wins in the 60's and 70's (or I guess 1920-40's for Rhino's sake) the people around here and the fan base fully remember what it's like to be a winning dynasty, the names Joe Montana and Steve Young are still fresh in our minds.
how many of the front office guys for the Niners from their title runs are still there to this day with this current regime?
49ers haven't been relevant in YEARS. No one really cares about what they did 15-20 years ago or whatever except Niner fans. All we know is they've been awful lately, save last year.
It was because of DeBartolo's connections that the team stayed back East for 10 days last season in-between their road wins (before beating Philly) that got them off to a good start. Not to mention it's DeBartolo's sister and husband who took over the team for him. Luckily they replaced their son Jed for President though because he was terrible, luckily he appointed Baalke as GM though.
Trust me, we all miss Eddie but to say they're not connected in any way just isn't true.
Lol at them following Manning like an OJ chase.
Its kinda funny when you think about all those power house franchises of the 80's/early 90's haven't really done shit in the salary cap era outside of the Giants who won two superbowls in a five year period.
Sounds like the Dolphins are trying to use Flynn's desire to play for Philbin (and lack of desire to play for the Seahawks) to low-ball him. 7M a year may get it done.
Dallas signs Cincy G Nate Livings. Inc 10 posts from Leroy bugging Heady to break down everything he's ever known about him ever.
hahaha
