1 playoff win in 6 years = terrible
1 playoff win in 6 years = terrible
not a secret the SF WRs are terrible, you win nothing.
Anyone with any kind of cap room and a WR need should be going full force for Wallace. Steelers are insane if they let him get away.
How's it feeling knowing terrible rookies like TJ Yates and Tim Tebow have as many wins? Or that fucking Joe Flacco has had more playoff success in his career than Romo with even worse stats? Or that even Mark Sanchez has some quality playoff wins under his belt that Romo wishes he could do?
Your QB is shit. Learn to accept about 3-5 years of mediocrity when he gets an unneeded extension cause Jerry has had 1 too many concussions. Or hope he gets a major injury so they can sign someone else.
Really hope you are trolling with the "HURRDURR TJ Yates has more wins!" shit
It took Peyton Manning 6 years to win a playoff game.
Peytons team also had much less talent.
bullshit
Edge, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, etc.
Romo made Miles, Laurent. Witten is the only talented receiver we currently have (I mean according to everyone, Dez sucks donkey dick), with T.O. being the only one beyond that. O Line has been atrocious for years, and our defense is solid, lemme tell ya.
Peyton may have had less talent around him, but let's not act like the Cowboys are the Saints.
The point is this, during those six years, I'm sure quite a few shitty QBs won playoff games, and you could have made that same dumb argument "Haha Joe Blow has more playoff wins than Peyton Manning!"
leroy, stop interjecting cowboys into things so that people can stop making fun of the cowboys.
Cowboys talent in the last few years has been good enough to win at least more than 1 playoff game. And not to say Peyton hasn't blown playoff games, but he's generally far from the issue. The Colts did shitty enough to get the #1 pick when they got Peyton, let's not pretend it was the dynasty it eventually became when he got there and the team was poised to make a good run in 1-3 years.
While Romo has shown to not be clutch when he needs to be(ie, missing an easy pass to Austin with enough room to run and possibly win the game at the end of the regular season). Etc etc etc. Lesser QB's have been able to get some playoff wins cause of a good overall team build, good/great QB's have been able to pull up at least 1 playoff win because of their own abilities. If Romo can somehow put up all these impressive regular season stats, but can't carry that over to the playoffs, he's practically bizarro-Mark Sanchez.
Lets completely ignore how the defense gave up like 15 points in 4 minutes, but yeah you're right. Miles Austin losing the ball in the lights makes Romo turrible.
colts went 13-3 edge's rookie year and got bounced like a bunch of bitches. romo went 13-3 his first full year as a starter and got bounced like a bitch. romo = edgerren jame.s
So who do you think will be the bigger bust, Luck RG3 or both?
Loved the report on the defenses RG3 faced. I'm starting to lean towards both.
Neither. BG bet?
RG3 is black, I got my bet on him.
There is literally an excuse every year about how it's not Romo's fault when the Cowboys don't really go anywhere, while there's documented evidence of him messing up. While it's entirely plausible a few years it's just not his fault, eventually you have to wonder why a fanbase that elevates their QB to an elite status can't carry his team in a time of need like many of the real ones have. Romo is constantly talked about as being great, having all these great regular season stats, yet suddenly when they lose and don't go anywhere all the team issues show up that are completely ignored or overlooked when they are winning and he has throwing well and it's suddenly not his fault. Once a QB throws well during the regular season and gets a good QBR it's like "well ok whatever, playoff performance isnt his fault obviously" when alot of times it is.
Is it the Patriots fault and not Tom Brady's for his horrid game against the Ravens now, cause he 95% of the time has impressive offensive stats? Or his performance in the last 2 seasons where they didn't advance in the playoffs, even after securing a top seed one of those years? People have rose-colored glasses sometimes when they talk about their QB, like they are perfect and can do no wrong. Unless you are Aaron Rodgers that is generally not the case.
We aren't even talking about the same thing anymore. I agree with that post.
Calling Romo "great" is silly, because he does derp away games an awful lot.
for the record, peyton couldn't win playoff games at first cuz PATRIOTS DYNASTY
