All 3 (Ware Romo Austin) did so before this past season so the Cowboys could keep Elam and Sensabaugh and get under the cap.

And I have no idea, I don't look all that intimately at player's salary and how much they make each year. I'm not paying them, and i'm not receiving the money so I don't really care all that much.

I thought it was hilarious with the Mike Tolbert signing they kept saying that he turned down a whole $1 million more to stay with San Diego. Uh... $1m is nothing to most of these guys.

Example: if you're getting paid $50k annually to work for a company, and your boss says "Profits are low right now, we'll pay you $30k this year and $70k next year to make up for it," you're not going to be seen as a classy person for helping your company recover by anyone. As a more accurate example of this, Cullen Jenkins is making less money and Eagles fans were applauding him for doing so, but not one person cheering him on would ever make less money for the sake of their employer. The only time I can think of this happening is when an already-rich politician or CEO works for $1/year due to public pressure.

It's not really that big a deal ultimately, but it's not like they're jumping in front of a bullet.

I'm sure a lot of people are going to say that it hurts Forte, but I'd be happy. He probably wasn't going to get a long term deal anyway and now he can sit back on less of a workload and make 8 million. he canlisten to offers and if he doesn't like them, the franchise salary is less risky now.

Disagree, only because if Marshall is on the field he is WAY better than what they have had at WR. The fact that he already has a rapport with Cutler makes it even better. Definitely like the Bush signing though. 2 quality backs to share carries.
