P sure most football people know that his overall stats may be down. If his YAC stays high and he should still catch a lot out of the backfield, his stock won't really drop.

As far as Marshall, he has a lot of drops, a lot. Did in Denver too. He's a great WR, no doubt, but I don't think the bears will all of a sudden turn into an elite passing team. They still need someone to stretch the field.

Sure it will. There is a difference between "My client was responsible for 40% of your total offense last year" and having a solid ypc with half as many touches

either way he can't stay healthy being ran the way he did last year.. they ran his ass into the ground. I see this move being better for both the Bears and Forte only people it affects negatively are fantasy owners

Football people know his skill level independent of workload, sure, but you can't say it won't affect contract negotiations.

also i was saying when you miss X number of games that % of total offense keeps going down, yeah you can say I was X% of the offense when I played but I'm not sure that's the same. I mean a lot of things are going to affect his negotiations when he does get the chance, he'll be however many years older, he'll have had an injury. I'm not saying you're wrong and it won't be a factor but I think there are probably a lot of things to consider and factor

If he gets tagged again next year, 2 years and 16 million guaranteed is a pretty good deal for being in a timeshare. I just said that if he gets though this season healthy, it's good for Forte. I think the tag is much less a risk for him now than it was. I mean, if I were him, I'm not sure I'd take anything less than about a 4-5 year contract with at least 20 guaranteed when he'll make 8 mill guaranteed by taking the tag.
