Soul shards eventually went directly to their respective bags, but it took a long while to get to that point. I think some mods let you do some auto-filtering before that.

I think the craftsman's bags are the least noteworthy as we have our collection , to put that stuff into, as well as a bag menu option to just put it all in there. Oiled Packs are also kinda meh since you've the option to sell all Junk, at a merchant. Padded boxes and Invisible bags are pro though. Depending on where Trophies go, craftsman's bags or oiled packs could be useful; by the way, I didn't figure it out, so how exactly do you salvage trophies?

Double-click a salvage kit, click whatever item you wanna salvage, and if it can, boom.

Another thing to note when choosing your crafting professions is that if you plan on attempting to get your hands on a legendary weapon you will need to have 2 capped professions. Which professions are required differs between weapons.

There is a fairly decent pattern amongst the legendaries with the correct base weapon craft being required. The "metal" weapons require Weaponsmith, the ranged weapons require Huntsman and the Magic weapons require Artificer. After that different weapons require different "sub crafts". For example the much talked about greatswords require Armorsmith as the sub craft. The shortbow requires Jewelry. There is a legendary weapon for every weapon type and each craft is required to craft at least 1 legendary. (Yes even Cooking.) Oddly enough, Tailor seems to be the only craft that is required to craft only a single legendary (The Rifle).

So take that as something to think about with your crafting choices. Mind you, you do not have to worry about legendaries until you hit 80 but there is the reality that you will have to level the two crafts for the weapon you want at some point.

Where exactly are you getting this information about legendaries?, i've been searching for a while and have seen no actual proof that you're required to have anything to obtain them.

There currently isnt a heck of a lot of information on how you obtain the materials, and what is required to craft them, but we do know the base recipes. At least according to the datamining information a friend linked me. The recipe requires a "Gift" from base craft for the individual weapon + "Gift" from sub craft + Bloodstone (this is the 200skill point Mystic item) + the base weapon. The only material people know 100% how to obtain/create is the Bloodstone as the Mystic Forge vendors have been in the game since BWE2. We were told that the items required to create legendaries would require long "quests" and a large amount of work. So we can only believe that the base weapon is probably a drop or a crafted weapon from a rare drop and that the Gifts require quested, reputation based (Priory, Order or Vigil) or grinded materials.

I've yet to run a dungeon. How many dungeon tokens do you normally get for normal mode and explorable mode?

In BWE2 you got 0 tokens for story mode and approximately 40ish tokens in explorable mode. They did comment that the explorable mode droprate was increased and/or the last boss in each path will drop a piece of the armor set. I only ran story mode in BWE3, so I can't confirm/deny the droprate increase.

I got a piece of the armor set from story mode when I did it, so there's that too.

Yeah, storymode always drops one piece of the armor the first time you do it. In Ascalonian Catacombs case, it drops the helm.

Thats pretty nice. Just curious because looking at that reddit thread, you'll need 250 tokens from a dungeon no matter which legendary you're shooting for.

Yeah, I think no matter what the legendaries are going to take a shit load of grinding. 200 SP alone is hilarious to think about.

Not really, you're more than likely to have a few laying around before you hit 80. looking at the warrior skills it only takes around 164 skill points to purchase all the skills (not including racials). according to the gw2wiki there was 199 skill challenges during the latest stress test and add 75 more for leveling, so that's what around about 100 skill points by the time you hit 80.

Well, you do want to include the racials -- every race has a 30p elite and two 10p elites (norns have 3). That's not a small number if you're really unlocking all your options.

Im still kind of disappointed that your choice of animal totem doesn't effect your choice of animal form elite as a norn. I was really intrigued by the choice in the personal story creation and then found that out and i was a sad panda.

It does make sense that the snow leopard is 30 since you can stealth in it though.

Short cool-down too, which is nice given how short the form duration is.

Seems like Jade Quarry and Sorrow's Furnace (no habla espanol, your honor) are the two big WvWvW servers, according to the gw2guilds.org site,. with two big groups undecided. I seem to recall Ascension was an Asmodian guild, of ill-repute, in Aion, so that might be a server to avoid? Is it even the same group? I don't need to be in the top tier WvWvW, but I don't really enjoy being steamrolled either.

Sanctum of Rall has 3400, according to the Gaiscioch page. Eeesh, that's a shit load.

(Yes, I'm pretty much solo, with who I've played MMORPGs with, so I don't really have a set place to go yet.)

The Jade Quarry alliance has all rather "average size" guilds between 20-50 in that alliance, vs the Acension/Titan/Latina alliances that have 125-300 in each guild in the alliance. Any one of those alliances could foreseeably lock up an entire server's maps.

As for Gaiscioch, thats 3400 in their alliance/community. Thats just them its nuts. I was considering that as a home, but honestly those gargantuanly large alliances turn me off.
