Are gear drop from mobs gear toward your level?

Sometimes. You'll still get zone appropriate loot, but I've also gotten level 55+ stuff from level 35 mobs.

Pure speculation on my part, but it seems like if a zone is greyed out the lower your chances are of getting gear near your level. If it's green or higher, the chances are better.

Has anyone experienced issues right click camera turning? I see a lot of complaining about it on google but no solutions. A lot of the complaints seem to think it's a razer issue but I do not have a razer. It seems to be worse since the last 1 or 2 patches to the point where if I noticed it before I could deal with it, and now doing a dungeon was like rage-inducing. It seems to have something to do with targetting, like if you're too close to a targetting box it won't register the click to the point where it seems like even when an npc or a treasure chest is blocked by the environment somehow it will fail. Either there's more to it or it's just like 75% of the time or something, I'm not sure because I can't reliably reproduce it just standing around right clicking on things. Perhaps character movement affects it as well, either way I'm willing to try any suggestions on how to fix this because keeping my face to a mob while dodging and using movement skills like ride the lightning when I can't camera turn reliably is driving me pretty crazy and I definitely did not have this issue in the betas.

I've had that. Personally I increased the responsiveness of the mouse in the control options, and it's been fine ever since. I think that there's a certain amount of inherent annoyingness you're going to get in a game that uses a mouse to control movement direction. If you make your mouse more responsive, it requires less physical movement to move the camera, which reduces the times you're going to run the mouse out of your range of physical motion or have a problem with the mousepad, etc.

Just ran AC in story mode for the first time and found it damn hard, we were wiping like every trash group. I kept trying to explain to the group that we needed CC and support abilities but they just kept derpdpsing and then going "THIS ISN'T LIKE WOW IS IT?" every time we died. Does anyone have any build suggestions for engineer? I was running with gun/shield, healing turret, bomb kit (my aoe/snare/poison field), radiation field and the power buff elixir (S?). I think all our gear was lacking in toughness/vit so any suggestions on stat balance would be welcome

Happened to do that tonight with pretty much everyone doing ranged attacks. Had some dicey moments here and there (like a surprise Troll champion busting out of a wall) but I'm just going to unfortunately say that being a melee in this game against bosses is going to be an utter pain in the ass. After seeing their move sets sometimes I'd be able to swing away, but a lot had some kind of AoE. Biggest blessing of ranged attacking, of course, is the ability to move while still doing damage and in some cases hide behind obstructions to regenerate.

Not sure if it was intended or not, but in the fight against the duo, boulders kept spawning so myself and one of our party members just chainspell stun locked one of the bosses while the other 3 took out the first mob. Was laughing way too much at that and we kept making rock-related puns..

Are there any good farming spots for any of the following items?

-Small Scales
-Small Totems
-Small Venom Sacs
-Small Claws
-Thin Blood

I grinded small venom sacs very quickly outside of Lion's arch. If you go northwest from the main exit to the zone north of it (I think it's 25-35, forget its name), there are a couple of buildings with spiders and flies around them. I basically set my turrets up in the centre of the spider spawns and pulled everything I could. Was able to get at least 10 sacs every 10 minutes or so doing that. There are worms in the fields nearby that also drop scales, I think.

As far as getting my crafts to 75 (leatherworking 25, weaponcraft 25) Any way i can grind them faster via discovery? I see iron ores are available in leathercraft discovery now, but i have no idea what other items i can use to mix them up?

Iv picked up a physical copy of the game because digital sales have been suspended until they sort out the hardware for the server issues current players are having. Im curious will it be fairly easy for me to apply the license code from my physical copy to the client iv already got installed and updated from the very last Beta weekend? Pretty sure im ready to go but need to actually activate this physical copy

you'll need to start discovering if you ever want to get your crafting levels done, you'll start making metal plated dowels and things for your weaponsmithing and that's where you need to have a huge stack of fine mats to make the inscriptions to make named weapons IE traveller's.

Should be quite simple. However there have been intermittent issues with physical codes in some regions. At the very most you may need to contact CS to do it. At the very least you will need to patch the client and login.

Thanks. I'm at the point in armorsmithing where I need a lot of insignas to level up on.

refine > discovery for each tier. There is definitely a right and a wrong way to lvl up crafts and if you waste your materials doing it the 'wrong' way it's going to be painful. GW2DB is pretty good for recipes if you don't know what makes what but they all follow the same pattern after a while.

Can you obtain gear from an order you're not part of? Just saw the models and I am disappoint. I assume no, but I am hopeful. Also is the gear account bound? Wouldn't mind making an alt to get it for my main.
