I was wondering what you guys thought is the ideal pve/pvp setup to go? I've read so many versions to go with that I am uncertain...s/p, d/d, condition setups, etc. What traits and gears would use to compliment your setup? Thanks.

Do the fractal weapons drop off normal enemies, or is it daily chests only? I've gone from 20-39 and only seen people getting them from the chest.

Optimizing your HD is supposed to help. Its an issue because of how the game saves files, so it has no way to clean itself up so to speak since the game consist of like 6 large files. They need to do what WoW periodically does and force the user to clean up their system files. But as of now running something like Nortons that optimizes your HD is your best bet

So is this game worth playing now that it has been patched numerous times? I've held off for quite a while. A couple of my friends (ex hardcore XI'ers) swear up and down by it. I'm cautious to go forward with it though. From what I was seeing, high level content was severely broken. Has this been fixed?

The good outweighs the bad, but basically, if you like exploring a world, and experiencing content, you'll get your monies worth. If your looking for something like a WoW end game raid environment, you'll probably get bored fast.

I'm looking to start a Legendary, but before I get too far into it I want to clarify a couple of things and hope someone can help. Specifically:

1. Best way to farm WvWvW badges? I ran with the zerg last night for like 30-40min and got 2. Just keep doing that or is there an easier way?
2. Map completion - how hard is the WvWvW part of this? Specifically the Eternal Battlegrounds section.
3. The rest looks kind of like extended farming for a few months, relaint primarily on playing time and gold. Dungeon tokens don't look too bad - I will be doing shield which just needs AC tokens. Am I missing anything that could be a showstopper?

I've always felt that I missed something in not getting a relic or at least empyrean in FFXI and this looks soloable so can simply chip away at it.

WvW map completion depends on your server. If u have a good server then you should be able to get it over the course of a few weeks(assuming your server switches places), but if your on a server that always gets decimated then it will be next to impossible unless you switch servers for the time being.

Badges are best from the eternal battleground jumping puzzle. Do that on 1-2 characters a day and you will get your 500 badges in no time.

Thanks! I was hoping you'd reply since I saw you got a Legendary recently.

I'm on Jade Quarry which is currently #3 server for WvWvW - was concerned that each server might always be the same color for some reason. It looks doable if servers switch colors.

For the jumping puzzles, do those areas get camped by gankers or are they reasonably aggro-free?

Depends on your tier, what time it is, and if your own server is the one doing the ganking.

jumping puzzle gets camped regularly. But it all really depends on your server and who you are up against. It may be your server that does the main camping and/or there are always times when it isnt camped. Sometimes a mesmer is at the top who is prting ppl up also.
