Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed watching total biscuit's gameplay footage? obvious things like saying its important to dodge and then blaming such things as particle effects on not knowing when to dodge just tickles me.

Not trying to defend him or anything but some of those dungeon vids are pretty difficult to understand whats going on with all the chaos. Maybe it isn't as big of a deal when you're actually playing but i would't know.

Yeah, you guys won't really understand what he means about the particle effects until you're knee deep in some crazy stuff.

I played the shore zombie boat DE at PAX Prime 2011 and seriously had no clue what the fuck was going on half the time. There was just too much going on the screen at once. But like all things, people should start getting used to it after awhile. The first time you're in a cluster fuck of AoEs with particle effects galore, guaranteed you'll freeze up for a few seconds trying to digest everything.

Guild Wars 2: Celebrity Character Creation!





A couple of them are close. Wonder what other Celebs™ can be done in the character creation.

I think the only one of those that wasn't a complete stretch was Scar Jo. Only one where I could see it pretty immediatly before the comparison shot popped up.

Another big factor in balancing Guild Wars 2, is the power of our tools. We can make a large number of changes to skills in a very short period of time, we can put 100 skill changes into the game and test them in a matter of minutes. This allows for us to test ideas, fix problems, or do small tweaks very quickly giving us a much more iterative process.

mother of god @ that puzzle dungeon in the yogscast video. Probably without a doubt the coolest thing i've seen out of GW2 yet. Fuck this game is gonna be so awesome. I hope they keep shit like that in there and don't take it out for being too hard.
