Putting the RPG back into MMORPG right? Lol
Putting the RPG back into MMORPG right? Lol
TOR forgot the MMO part of MMORPG. GW2 seems to be getting it right.
Yeah SWTOR did a good job placing the RPG back but forgot about the MMO aspect from level 1-49 (as well as any challenge). When you have a companion that does a pretty good job and when you can solo in a few cases or duo most of the heroic 4's, people just "can't be bothered" to party up [even though it ends up being more fun if you do party up].
A couple of updates from Mike O'Brien from Red:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/c...ctors_edition/
"GameStop won't be the only retailer in the US selling the CE pre-purchase. But they're big supporters of CE's, and they'll have the largest stock of GW2 CE."
Also a response to someone saying: My guess is they'll let us know the release date on the 10th.
"No, we won't. It's not like we have a secret release date and we're not telling you. We meant what we said: we'll release the game when it's ready. And beta testing is where we find out if it's ready."
nice article with a nice link to some interesting numbers coming in from investors.
