For some people, it's worth the investment to experience the content they'd otherwise never experience. Whether this translates well to GW2, who knows, but I've always understood the concept, even if I never partake in it.

But like, the whole point of video games (or any hobby) is to spend time doing it. If you take away the time you spend participating in the activity, you're actively seeking to lower the amount of time you spend on your hobby... It's totally counter-productive.

Consider a different approach. We're so into our hobby of wine, that we have set up our own distilling process, to fully immerse ourselves in creating whatever infusions we're currently interested in. Others, may love wine just as much, but don't have the time to invest it at the level of detail as us. They are willing to pay to experience our end product because they don't have the time to reach it in the same manner. We all love drinking fine wine, but not all of us have the time or patience to create that experience from scratch.

Love the look of my current armor. Hat was a reward from AC story mode. Had power/healing power or some shit like that, so I transmuted some actually useful stats onto it. Dyes are primarily Jalapeno/Calfskin(bought cheap from TP).


Got Black Cherry dye randomly while leveling about 15 levels later, and I have to say it's my favorite shade of red that I've come across thusfar. Decided to embrace the Pirate motif! Btw, am I the only one that just doesn't like the look of the actual "Pirate" chest piece in-game?



Also, on the topic of Brown Bear names, I named mine Teddy Ruxpin. No screenshot atm, due to maintenance.

Only in GW2 would you see sharks underwater you can fight. This one was in a L55-65 zone, was by myself so didn't even go near, was quite scary though to have it swimming about as I was mining.

There's trained sharks that fight for whatever team owns the nearby base. Never died near them but that would be fucking hilarious if they rez you.

Rangers also have the "Search and Rescue" command, which commands your pet to seek out a downed ally and rez them. Since you can have shark pets...

Think it was a bug with the sharks that are around the keeps that are surrounded by water. Pretty sure they fixed it in the betas. Pretty damned hilarious though, should've kept it in lol.

jumped off a cliff and managed to enter an asura gate before i hit the ground. came out the other side, in the prone fall damage position, and am just sliding around rata sum. can 'jump' too, did my best to capture it in a still picture.

This is def one of my favourite heavy sets, looks fuckin' sweet. There was one more I really liked but I can't remember where it's from. I'll probably get that or save for the Vigil set.

A little post-capture giggle-fest. This was right before I played Siege Commander to 3 trebs blowing down the enemy garrison walls from the safety of our homely BG tower.



Its how she gets them nice shoulders and traps for her summer beach body.

Had a dance-off with some of the enemy during the heat of battle. If you look hard enough, you can see some of the enemy shuffling on the top of the ruins.
