Really depends on what type of Guardian you want to play. I know support guardians that stand behind mace/shield as being extremely useful.

The sad part is that we will see very few of those awesome shields. Personally I am still on the fence about a legendary for my elementalist. Bifrost is sorta cool and all, but its not awesome enough. I tend to use d/d for most things in dungeon, save for a few bosses where i am S/F, and use Staff for most of my running around and DEs so which legendary? I was leaning towards the scepter at this point but im on the fence.

It's a core issue. Even for support, shield is still pretty shit, the cooldowns are far too long for what the abilities do. I'm 90% support guardian and I wouldn't use a mace and shield, or any combo and shield, over a Hammer; tiny heals from mace and shield are completely negligible compared to 100% uptime protection and retaliation from hammer.

Just curious, but what do you use as your secondary weapon then? I never really got into hammer that much, but I do agree Faithful Strike and Symbol of Faith feel kinda meh.

Heh, that's usually what I use. I love Binding Blade for those pissant ranged attackers.

its a random craft in the forge from 75+ rare or exotics, but the size of the pools and %age of getting one is sucky, this is why i'm currently working on everything besides the weapon specific items atm.

BTW. Dusk was sitting at 275g trader listing when i looked this morning, GG hike the price so that no one will buy it.

Staff. Moderate AoE heals an 12 stacks of might that have a 1~2 second downtime. Swapping weapons also gives me an extra dodge roll heal, so swapping them on cooldown to pop abilities is pretty slick.

There's a heart in Dredgehaunt cliffs where you have to help out Travelen's Steading. You know, standard stuff... kill ice norn, brawl with troublemakers, etc. Little did I know, the norn I asked to brawl was actually made of a lot of norns:
