If there's one thing ArenaNet does flawlessly and above all other game developers, it's Holiday events. I'm not going to bother doubting this one's awesomeness. Just hoping we get free costumes and stuff like in GW1 and a final battle event on the final day of the event with cool unique rewards... having to buy everything would be kinda lame.

All the weapons are green glass like that, but they don't show up in the preview properly... GS for example looks like this:

Kind of hard to gauge how they'll look really, but you can often see Priory NPCs using them.

Yeah it's one of my favourite shields in the game... I don't like some of the bladed weapons though, they're pretty aesthetically pleasing but they don't look like you'd be able to... y'know, cut shit with them. GS works on Mesmer since you just shoot laser beams out of it though!

Also, your the only other person I've seen using the light epic armor skin; wonder why that is... Personally, I'll transmute T3 cultural over it, but I'm only 1/3 of the way to that.

Yeah I'm surprised very few people use it. Looks awesome and everyone and their mother uses the crafted heavy set. Although admittedly there's lots of cool choices for light armour compared to heavy, where most of the ones you level in are pretty generic. I was pretty happy with the set I leveled in too (though the skirt was meh, I never got around to finding the leg piece that matched the body), only decent pic I have of it:

I actually love both those light armor sets. The crafted "wing" set is pretty nice, and the karma set (sans skirt) is awesome as well. I really wish they had given us a few more sets for the sake of variety. Even if you have a dungeon armor set, a lot of people are getting to look very similar.

That's why you mix and match sets. Once I finish what I'm working on I'll post it.
