I heard the prices in Colorado were also being inflated due to the dispensaries fear of completely running out of supply the first couple weeks.

Interested to see how everything works out. I hope Colorado makes money hand over fist personally, but also hoping the prices are fair. Otherwise, people will just circumvent the legal system and buy it from the same sources they have been.

Should be cheaper than black market in the long run. And a ton in taxes for the state as well -- Just not yet there til more competition. The plant/weight prices were bad, about 50-100% more in some cases.

The going rate in NY is $90-$100/Q for high end. It's nearly impossible to find anything other than high end now a days as well, no more schwag for the cheapos lol.

This. Also, anyone under 21 would likely try to get it through the previous methods because they are unable to buy it legally. The problem is that it will not be accepted federally any time soon. There is always the chance they get shut down, penalized, or raided if the government decides they not longer want to support Colorado's conditional approval.

Not to mention you will have the idiots that will get caught trying to go across state lines, driving, smoking in public places, etc. and can screw over the people that were following the rules.

I think if Colorado can make money doing this, which they obviously will, it will hold the Feds back from doing anything drastic. Holder did publicly say they are laying off Colorado in regards to federal enforcement.

Yeah, Obama said the same thing about California and then raids happened. Most, if not all, of those raids were deserved though.

Both the truffles and other edibles I've had have tasted really good. I think you could take similar servings up to 300-500mg before they taste distinctively cannabis-y.

lol when you're doing 1600-1800 calories a day; every calorie counts. Hell, I am even counting my marinades now. Fucking two tablespoons of teriyaki sauce is 60 cals; almost 4% of my fucking daily calories.
