It's that time again! Marijuana legalization is back on the ballot for 2016. The current map right now going into it:

Cali and Mass. looking very good. Nancy Pelosi will be voting in favor of Cali's Prop 64. If California passes Prop 64, the effects on the nation will be immediate and game changing. How the drug is taxed and handled, how the nation views [petty] possession crimes. How the world may (or may not follow suit in legalization). The revenue that could be used to help addicts of other substances. The whole nine yards.

CA's Prop 64 looking good. And yes, the significance cannot be overstated; this state is 12% of our population and 14.5% of our GDP.

I hope Arizona and Nevada make us proud. (OK yay @ Maine & Mass. too) The medical baby step is so yesteryear, but for a state like Florida, it's still significant in fighting the stigma. I'm less optimistic about this legislation passing though.
