It's resilient if it's nothing else. We put a lot of effort into eradicating it, but our plains are vast, and yes feral hemp is out there in sporadic places from western NE & KS to.. south central WI apparently. I'm not sure what traits we will desire from these phenotypes, but they should be useful for certain genetics tweaking.
Feral hemp cultivars generally have <0.5% THC, <0.5% CBD, and <2% total cannabinoid content.
For comparison, some of the stickiest icky nowadays has 25%+ THC and 30-40% total cannabinoid content.
